What our members say

  • This was our first house sit and it was a wonderful experience. Our hosts gave us such a warm welcome we immediately felt comfortable and at home. Their home is beautiful and very comfortable to live in. They entertained us for a couple of days so that we understood how the home worked and so we could get to know Amber and Gus. We so enjoyed taking Amber on her walks every day, she is such a loving and loyal dog and just loves her walks, and the area is beautiful. Despite Gus the cat being independent and aloof, he spent almost every evening with us enjoying being cuddled. Both before and during our stay Lucinda kept us fully informed and helped us through the house sitting process. We would not hesitate to recommend Lucinda and Richard to house sit. In fact if you get an opportunity to house sit for them grab it quickly. We were so sad to leave, but so pleased to have made new friends for life. Susanne T. Newton Abbot TQ12, UK
  • Susanne and Chris are wonderful house-sitters. They have looked after my home beautifully and they have looked after Amber and Gus wonderfully. To be honest, they have been the best sitters that I have had. They are a warm and friendly couple who immediately fitted in with us and we just knew that we could go away with total peace of mind. More than that, we have become firm friends which is wonderful for us all. I have no hesitation in recommending Susanne and Chris to the highest degree. If you are fortunate enough to have them apply to look after your house and pets, then grab the opportunity as quickly as you can. They are going to become very sought after sitters and with very good reason. Thank you so much, my dear friends, for everything. The house seems so empty and Amber and Gus are already missing you (as am I). Lucy H. Montazeau, France
  • It was such a pleasure sitting for Nicky and George. They went out of their way to explain things and ease my connections. Although I was snowbound for a few days, I never felt alone. Nicky was always available by Messenger and introduced me to a neighbor who in turn was very helpful. The dogs were very sweet and the cat appeared at feeding time (typical cat!). Nicky and George are blessed to live in a beautiful and very special part of Greece, and it would be wonderful to sit for them again. Thanks for this rare opportunity! Astrid Hamilton, Bermuda
  • Astrid is a very interesting, independent, self sufficient lady. An easy communication with her to arrange the sit. During this short winter sit, we had some unexpected dramatic weather conditions and power cuts, she coped admirably on her own and was unfazed by the difficulties this situation created. She showed care and concern for the dogs and was a great companion to them. She embraced the Greek culture and was interested in learning as much as she could about the area and rich history. She was clean and tidy and respectful of our privacy as well as honest and careful with utility expenses. It was a lovely welcome to come home to a clean and tidy, warm home and happy dogs. Thank you Astrid, I hope out paths cross again. Nicky Peloponnese 220 16, Greece
