I have two half-breed dogs, they were stray dogs adopted from the shelter, so they are different mixes. They both are medium size and similar weight and height. (15kg) Troy is 7 years old, he is calm and quiet at home, he loves to sleep under his blanquet all day ( if Snatch lets him), he gives you lots of love. And outside, he loves to discover new smells, he is very active. Snatch is 5 years old, she is goofy and so cute, but she never stops playing, she needs to be doing something all the time. She is very obedient when she goes on a walk, with a leash or without. I take them out three times a day, but I think that during the months I'm going to be out it is too hot to take them on walks three times a day, so I would ask you to walk them in the morning and in the afternoon.

Hi! I live in an appartment in my beautiful home town, Portocolom. It is at 100 metres from the seaside. The flat is quite big, it has three rooms, a big livingroom, a bathroom, a new reburnished kitchen and a back room that leads to a small balcony. It is quite an old flat, I have lived here for 7 years now, but I have remodelated it, so it is cozy and cute. What's best about it is that it is located in a very quiet area, even though now there is a construction going on on the other side of the road from 9 am to 5 pm. Portocolom is a old fishing natural village, everything about it is beautiful, you can get to the beaches by foot, and I also have a bike and a paddle surf. In town, you can find groceries, lots of nice restaurants,

Portocolom is a small town with some tourists in the summer, I think it is the perfect place to spend a summer because it has natural surroundings everywhere, you can get anywhere by foot. Also, it is busy in the summer, you can see people having a walk or running, people in the beaches, souvenirs, supermarkets and restaurants. It is very lively but maybe not with the stress of a city.

Tourisme et loisirs

In Portocolom there are a few beaches that you can visit, 'Cala Marçal' (which is the most touristic one, I would not recommended), s'arenal and s'arenal petit (they are not very big but they are beaufitul), and s'algar is not really a beach but there are cliffs and some sand, it is very natural and it has amazing views. Also, you can take the bus to visit the city of Palma, where you can visit the Cathedral, the parks and shopping centers. Next to Portocolom, there is a mountain called 'San Salvador' from which you can see all the island, you can go on a hike. Then, there are plenty of natural and incredible beaches and mountains where you can go to do some trekking, and you will love the views.

We are grateful to Cristina for the invitation and the opportunity to get to know the island. Kristina is very nice and sociable! She met us at the airport and we chatted all the way to Portocolom. Cristina also gave us a tour of the city and good recommendations. Portocolom is a small town, we really liked it. You can have a good time in it after the big city. The rocks, the sea and the lighthouse have conquered our heart. But most of all our heart was taken away by Troy and Snatch incredibly cute and friendly dogs. We will miss them! Troy is a calm and adult man and Snitch is an incredibly energetic and cheerful lady :D likes to swim in the sea and chase cones. We will be glad to meet again! We wish Cristina, Troy and Snatch the most joyful and happy days :)
