General description

The house is in a centric but quiet neighbourhood in Dakar. From on of the main streets of Point E, a big patio shared with our friendly neighbours, gives access to smaller patio and my lovely but small two-storey house. The living room, a tiny kitchen and a small toilet in the base floor, and up the stairs, a bedroom with a balcony and bathroom.
I love to chill and read from the hammock in my patio and, on the weekends I invite my friends to eat on the bigger patio outside.
The neighbourhood, Point E, is calm but has everything near, as supermarkets, some restaurants and you can get to almost any part in Dakar within less than 30 minutes (if the traffics allows you, of course).

Needs and Animals
- My pets
- A cat
I live with a shy cat named Esiiko. I give her food twice a day (morning and afternoon) and, during the day, she comes and goes from the house as she wants. At night I'd prefer that she stays inside, as there are some neighbour (stray) cats who will come inside to eat her food and mark their territory.
The only plants I've got are cactus and aloe-vera so don't worry if you forget to water them, as they are very resistant.

Practical life
- City
- Less than 50 m² (530 sq. ft.)
- 20 - 200 m² (210 - 2110 sq. ft.)
- Bus stop
The neighbourhood is quiet and there are a couple of supermarkets nearby. Although the living room is not that big, I love making dinners with my friends in the big patio, where I can set up a table and some benches under a shade. I usually call a fisherman that brings fresh fish or seafood to the house.
There are a couple of restaurants and bars nearby where they cook traditional food and sometimes they have live music, but other areas of the city are not far. Plateau, the city center is just at 15 min by car (taxis are cheap and is a popular way of transportation), and Almadies and Ngor, where you can find tons of restaurants by the ocean is just 20 min away.

Comfort and Luxury
My house is cozy and very basic. The strongest point regarding technology would be the fiber optic, so fast wifi and a chromecast that let's you send almost any internet content to the tv. But to be honest, I prefer to chill on the hammock reading a good book and listening to music.
Tourism and Leisure
- Sea
What I love most about Dakar is the ocean. There are several nice beaches nearby and amazing surfing spots too.
The food is cheap and delicious and the people and culture, just amazing.
