General description

  • Main home
We live in Downtown Raleigh in a renovated 100 year-old home. . .a short walk to the NC State Capitol, City Market, Moore Square, Transfer Co. Food Hall and hosts of coffee shops and restaurants. We are right around the corner from one of the trailheads for the Raleigh Greenway. North Carolina State University, Pullen Park and North Hills are a short drive away. The listing indicates you will need a car, but that depends on what you want to do. Most likely, I'll have my car with me, but we live in a very walkable location! The bedroom for guests has a queen size bed and a private bathroom across the hall.

Needs and Animals

  • My pets
  • Animals with specific needs
  • 2 dogs
Two adorable pups are the main task. Leo is an 11-year old lemon beagle and puppy mill survivor and George is an 11 year-old beagle who spent the first four years of his life as a test subject in a research lab. They are both survivors and all have unique personalities and needs. It's an easy, peasy task for anyone who wants to spend time with my nuggets. I live in downtown Raleigh, NC. . .within walking distance of great restaurants, greenways and parks. My main concern is the health and well being of my dogs. I'm not as concerned about how clean my house is when I return. If my dogs are happy, content and have been cared for in my absence, then I consider it a successful sit.

Raleigh was just voted the 2nd best place to live in America. Lots of parks, greenways, restaurants and museums. "Sneaky cool" is how one local store owner describes Raleigh.
