General description

  • Main home
House in a small Bulgarian village. 20km to a town for shopping, but the village has a store for the basic needs.

House is heated with pellets and inverter in the winter.

Needs and Animals

  • My pets
  • Animals with specific needs
  • Many plants
  • Big garden
  • Vegetable patch
  • 2 dogs
I have 3 dogs, most of the time only 1 or 2 will stay at home. It's a large Australian cattle dog type street dog that lives outside. And a small jack Russell mix that lives inside. The 3rd is old and always with me.

For the large dog you need to take it out of it's night cage during the day. It has an automatic feeder that i fill once every 10 days. Water when needed. If you want you can take it for walks but it's up to you. It's a dog from the streets so it's a little scared of strangers and might bark at you at first until it it familiar with you.

In the summer i also need help with watering the garden and cutting the grass (automatic lawn mover available).

The village is traditional Bulgarian village but fairly lively all year round. The village is surrounded by nature with view to the Balkan mountains. The area has many options for one day trips for sightseeing.

The garden is mainly grass and flowers. Sometimes we grow veggies and there's a plot for it should you be interested. In the summer there's the option of large in-ground pool. There's a covered balcony with garden furniture.

In the winter things get a little quieter. Weather gets cold and it occasionally snow a lot, half a meter not unheard of. So this is time for readings or watching tv in front of the fire.

The nearest town for shopping is sevlievo where there are several supermarkets. The village has a mini market with very basic stuff. To get to sevlievo you need a car, take the bus (i think it's only once a day) og order a taxi. We can possibly work out an older car you can drive if you are experienced driver.

  • 4 rooms of which 2 bedrooms
  • Contemporary
