General description

  • Main home
Tiny (tall) house next to our bar.
We just finished building our little house next to our business, a bar and distillery in Puerto Natales.
It has all double-glazed north facing windows, with views over the town to the sound (coast) and glacier-covered mountains. The bedroom is a little loft that you climb a ladder to access, and the views from that window show the mouth of the sound to the south west of the property.
We also have excellent internet and a brand new smart tv.

Needs and Animals

  • My pets
  • A dog
We have a lovely ex-street dog called Linda. She is mostly german shepherd and is about 8 years old. She is ridiculously chilled out, without an aggressive bone in her body. She loves walks, both on or off the lead, which ever you’re most comfortable with. Other favourite past times include snuggles on the couch, watching the neighbour’s cats from the deck, shaking hands and big sloppy kisses. She needs feeding once a day and walking at least once a day.
We also have a few indoor plants, but the only need water about once a week.

Puerto Natales is a gorgeous little town on the doorstep to Torres del Paine National Park. It hosts some great cafes, bars and restaurants, but our favourite thing is the water-side walks we take everyday with glacial views. Saying that, since we built our little place, watching sunsets from the balcony is now a strong contender!

Our place is right in the middle of town, so nowhere is more than 5-10 minutes’ walk away. You can easily arrange day trips into Torres del Paine, boat trips to the glaciers, or horse riding or visits to the estancias from Puerto Natales.

Comfort and Luxury

  • 2 floors
  • 2 rooms of which one bedroom
  • Contemporary
  • Terrace / Balcony
  • Television / DVD library
  • Fitted kitchen
Our house is heated with a traditional cast-iron stove that has been converted to Natural gas. All the widows are double glazed and the space is not that big so it gets cosy in no time!
The big windows mean that you can appreciate the views without having to even get out of bed.

Tourism and Leisure

  • Sea
  • Mountain
  • Countryside
  • Forest
  • City
There are plenty of day trips that can be enjoyed from our place, to Torres del Paine and surrounding national parks. We'd also be an excellent option for recovering after a long trek!
