General description

  • Main home
A 15th Century half timbered house situated in the heart of a beautiful medieval village with it's 12th Century Castle. We live above our restaurant, which will be closed whilst we are away. Our living space is a large open plan kitchen lounge diner. We have two large bedrooms, one with a double 160cm x 200cm. The second, which is the children's bedroom has a small double and a single. A family bathroom with bath/shower. There are lots of stairs as we have different levels throughout the building.

Needs and Animals

  • My pets
  • A dog
  • A cat
  • Fish
We have a Bassett Hound who is 2 years old. We don't have a garden so you are obliged to take her out several times a day. She has a very good routine and is very easy to take care of. She loves company, cuddles and the sofa!!!! Out and about she's very sociable, loves to say hello to fellow walkers and is very friendly towards other dogs.
Our cat is 15 years old, She is almost totally blind but copes very well, at the moment she is on a tablet a day for high blood pressure.. She is not a cuddly cat and is not the most sociable but she's chatty and loving in her own way.. You are very privileged if she chooses to sit on your knee, but don't ask anymore of her. If you want to make friends a cheeky scrap of chicken or fish is always a good starting point!! She has her own door, but she doesn't venture out much in the winter months, so her litter box will need emptying and refreshing as required.
The fish need only feeding and some drops of product in their tank, instructions will be given. Their tank will be cleaned before our departure.
