General description

  • Main home
The house is around 400 years old and has some lovely old features. It is over 3 levels, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen/diner and a fabulous lounge with wood burner and English Sky TV.
The large, fenced-in garden is surrounded fields, 3 of which we own. The large patio area has table and chairs, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or even a glass of wine under the stars....and on a clear night, the Milky Way is right above you!

Needs and Animals

  • My pets
  • Animals with specific needs
  • 2 dogs
  • 7 cats
  • Farm animals
Queen Ruby is a special dog with special needs. She has a strict rice & chicken feeding regime (you will need to cook her rice), which includes giving medication. She has to be fed 3 times per day and she knows how to tell the time. If you're late for lunch - she'll let you know! Logan is much easier. Unfortunately, what goes in the front end, must come out the back, so there will be some 'poop collecting' involved.
The Queen and her Court Jester (Logan) require no walkies, as they wander (Ruby) or charge (Logan) around the garden to their heart's content! Both are total couch potatoes and massive cuddle monsters. Cuddles are required on demand - their demand, not yours!

The barely tolerated minions - aka the cats!
We have 2 indoor cats who live solely in the Master Suite. They need feeding twice per day, usual litter tray attention and cuddles - lots of cuddles! There are 5 other cats who all live outside, but are fed twice per day. You will be followed and if you ignore Ringo, you will be swatted!
(The barely tolerated bit is from Logan - he is not a fan of the feline furries!)

"The Girls" - Baaaaa.... we have 8 Cameroon sheep. They are not white & woolly, but different shades of brown hair sheep, who could be mistaken for hornless goats! They require daily water replenishment and their hay feeder topped up. Depending on the weather and how long they have spent indoors, the poop in the 'Sheep house' will need to be brushed up and their beds topping up with straw.

It may sound a lot, but it doesn't actually take too long. I will provide an easy-to-follow breakdown.
