The premier floor has a sitting room with views, wood burning insert, and terrace at the end. A step up takes you to a small hallway with toilet closet a wood burner, stairs going to second floor and kitchen.
Kitchen has a nice view, stove, refrigerator, pantry cupboard, small wood burning stove.
As you can see the house is heated with wood burning units. There are two electric heater on second floor, however refrain from much use do to cost.
I find my home warm and inviting.
I have oriental rugs, antiques and a nice collection of art work. The kitchen is created with wood counter tops and open shelving. I would call my taste very eclectic.
Needs and Animals
- My pets
- 2 cats
Being indoor cats they have a litter box which I scoop twice a day, morning and evening. This keeps any odor away and makes for happier cats. I lock them in the attic at night, this has been our routine since kittens. It saves on night roaming and more restful for all.
I feed dry, one small cup in each brown bowel morning and night. If there is food left I just add a little. Sometimes I give small teaspoon of wet at night when they go to bed.
They of course will have their flea medication and worming before I depart.
