We live on the 11th floor of a 14 floor building downtown Setubal city. It is by the Sado river with view over the river, hills and the Atlantic ocean. It is close to everything in town.
We have a 11.5 year old Papillion that was born in Iceland but moved with us to Portugal almost 3 years ago. We take him on several walks every day, and he can go on longer hikes with us, but does not like the rain.
Setubal is a nice authentic Portuguese city close to nature and very beautiful beaches. There are a lot of restaurants all around with good food. There is a great market 5 minutes walk from the house and there is a nature reserve on the doorsteps (Arrabida).
Setubal is only 50km away from Lisbon and the airport.
