General description

  • Main home
Suburban house with access to bus routes and light rail to take to Sacramento. Only a 15-20 minute drive to Sacramento, 1.5 hours to South Lake Tahoe, 3 hours from Yosemite. Great spot for a layover to rest between other vacations or all on its own! 3 bedrooms, 2 are currently converted to offices, with updated kitchen and large sun room with projector. It’s a cozy retreat.

Needs and Animals

  • My pets
  • Many plants
  • 2 cats
  • Exotic pets
Feed the cats twice a day and clean the litter box 2-3x/week. Our black cat has a medical issue and must be checked on every day.
Houseplants need to get watered once every 10 days.
There is a tortoise in hibernation that will be in a box in the garage. You don’t have to do anything for him, but just know there is an animal out there. We will show you him.

Friendly safe neighborhood. Pretty quiet with great access to the jewel of the Sacramento area- the American River Parkway is 10 minutes walking or 5 minutes biking from our house.
Closed in backyard with a charcoal grill and lawn furniture if it’s not too wet.
Drink coffee on the front patio overlooking the nice front landscaping.
Kitchen stocked with every tool you could want for cooking (stand mixer, pasta maker, air fryer, burr coffee grinder, etc.).
Having a car to go to the grocery store is nice, but it’s a 20 minute walk.
Bus stop is at the corner, but the metro/light rail is a 5 minute drive/10 minute bike.

Sacramento is a large metro, always things going on but with a small town vibe. As a local you get to know the shop owners and feel like it’s your town.
Being between San Francisco and the mountains there are tons of outdoor activities. We go snowshoeing in the National Forest only one hour away, and there are also ski resorts.
Right here in Rancho Cordova, our stretch of the American River is beautiful and it really can’t be overstated.
