General description

  • Main home
Come stay in the heart of San Francisco! We live in the heart of the Mission district which is a cool trendy, hipster spot, of Spanish origin, known for its myriads or Taqaurias and burritos, hipster coffee shops, delicious food and boutiques, restaurants and bars, organic ice cream, juice bars, and street art. People come from all over the world to see this vibrant area. We are located 2 blocks from the Bart (metro) that will take you to the very touristy areas of the city in about 10 minutes. We live on the 4th floor of a very old historic building with no elevator, about 60 stairs total. laundry is on the bottom story and shared with all in the building. There are a lot of homeless people around, but this is everywhere in SF. You’ll find grocery outlet 2 blocks away, Whole Foods less than a mile, and tons of small markets to do shopping at.
This is a very small studio at 350 square feet- a large bedroom/living room, and kitchen, and bathroom. We are looking for 1-2 people mature adults (no kids) that have experience with cats and love them to come stay with our fur babies. Our cats our older and need a bit more than just average attention. We know this is a fun place to be, but are looking for someone who will want to hang out a bit with our babies as well.
Our building is full of working professionals so we are looking for someone quiet. We do have a parking spot located down in the alleyway outside the building if you’re driving, and public transportation is super accessible here with the Bart being just 2 blocks away.
Lots of health food stores, local markets, etc close by and very walkable.

Needs and Animals

  • My pets
  • Animals with specific needs
  • 2 cats
We are looking for older, and experienced sitters who genuinely love cats more than dogs :) our cats are older as well and love companionship and so we are looking for someone who will love them like their own, and although we want you to enjoy your time here, we are looking for ones who also like to hang out at home and enjoy the quiet as well, providing them some companionship and not always on the go.

They need to be fed twice a day, litter box scooped of clumps daily, and changed fully once a week, as well as possibly be given oral medication so you’d need to be experienced with that. They love to sit in your lap and sleep with you, so must truly LOVE cats! Our are very sweet and we’ve had them since they were babies so they’re very trusting and not mean or scared of people.

We also need our indoor plants watered weekly.
We are really clean, minimalists and want to find someone who will care for our home the same way that we do.

We are minimalists so you won't have a lot of things in your way here. It's sunny and warm inside the house during the day, but the area does get quite chilly. There's a full kitchen, smaller fridge, bathroom with bathtub. Our place is on the smaller side, and is a studio so you might hear our neighbors a bit but they are generally quiet. We have a small closet room that we will keep locked, so unfortunately there won’t be anywhere for you to hang your clothing, you’ll need to keep it in the main room.

We have a king sized bed, everything in the house is newer and has a sunny bright feel to it. You can easily have everything you need within a couple of blocks from the house. The view of the city from our rooftop is amazing, see the pics. Sometimes the alleyway down below can get loud with people passing through or playing music.

There's bread markets with the famous sourdough SF is famous for around the corner, a nice park a half mile away, chocolate shops, wine shops, as well as tons of little Mexican mini local markets, Whole Foods is less than a mile away, Walgreens pharmacy a half mile. The Mission district is a vibrant Hipster, trendy cool spot. Lots of places to go and see immediately when you walk out of your door. There are homeless people everywhere since this is San Francisco, but it's very safe, we are less than 1/3 mile from Mark Zuckerberg for reference :) tourist attractions are 10 minutes away on the Bart which is less than 2 blocks from our place. This area is a hot spot for techies and hipsters and foodies, and tourists,, but still has its original flavour with lots of Spanish influence, and street art everywhere you look.
Rent a car and go to Napa, we are less than an hour away!

firm dates

Our dates are firm as we already have purchased tickets. We’d like you to come one day early so we can show you around, but unfortunately our place is too small to have you stay with us so you’d need to find your own accomodations.
