Pet-sitting | Big garden | 1 Cat

Trustworthy, clean, spend a lot of time and love our cat. She needs attention so plenty of time onsite with her, some knowledge of garden, keep an eye on things, responsible, thoughtful. She receives medicine on her ear daily, which is easy to do. She is a very cuddly kitty cat and happy to have her medicine rub. She also receives a little medicine that she licks up which is also easy. Feedings 3x a day, can food...add water and probiotic (1x day on probiotic pinch) You will love this spot if you like a place to meditate, relax, write, hike, chill. This is ideal for someone who can do stairs daily and likes to be on site a fair amount as kitty needs to be around a person and get lots of attention. She would love to sleep with you. She loves company for a snuggle and naps. She gets let out in morning (once light) and comes back in anywhere from 30- minutes to a few hours then is inside, but if you are outside, she can go back out just back in by 3ish (later in summer) so it is before she feels the twilight primal hunting instinct. (and that is the worrisome time as the bigger animals are out so she needs to be inside before evening) She is not to be let out if coyotes heard or seen. Yard is fenced but she is a cat. Our garden is half acre but feels bigger. Someone who understands and likes gardens as some plant tending with an eye for the garden is bonus. We have a weekly gardener visit and would be fabulous if you were around a bit on that weekday. House will be alarmed and secure except your area is a separate area. Pool guy comes once a week but the pool is off limits. It is to much of a risk, maintenance issue etc. If windy, please help clear it out with our basket tool. Spa - you can dip into ...normal temp naturally not heated so perfect for hot day cool offs. You will enjoy the views, the sound of the fountain and the birds sipping at the birdbath. Doves also bathe in the fountain. This is for one or two adults at most. No children. Please keep clean. The special Spanish tile floor needs to be kept free from water (ie vacuum not mop, towels not on floor). This is a high end home and we trust you will care for it as if was your home. Please be mindful of water use as we live in drought Central California If exceptionally windy please use the tool to scoop out pine needles (5-10 min) from fountain/spa. Turn off lights..light footprint. We appreciate eco conscious..good stewards. You will hear birds, red tail hawks, doves cooing, sometimes the owls...see lots of stars, view the ocean and the islands, and experience real tranquility. We appreciate videos & good communication. We are available for questions and to ensure you have a comfortable enjoyable stay.

Riviera California Santa Barbara like the famous El Encanto Hotel. Stunning views. Gorgeous sacred garden with herbs and fruit trees. Only the guest suite and mini kitchenette in the garage available plus outdoor area with lots of sitting areas. Sweet affectionate cat is the reason we do this...and some garden TLC. The guest suite has a new King new bed, new king mattress & high quality sheets, walk in closet & large bathroom (shower). Step outside your door and be under the canopy of the large stone pine, pick fresh mint for your tea, smell the roses, hear the birds (doves, owls, & songbirds) Lots of hummingbirds too. We have an organic garden & depending upon the season, you may enjoy fruit. Herbs always. And enjoy the 180 ocean views with mountain views behind you in the garden. You will need a car for this location as we are in the top of the Riviera nor far from Franchesci park and the El Encanto hotel. Great walking in the neighborhood and we will introduce you to one neighbor set. We love some photos and little video updates on occasion. We have wifi and sonos …

Restorative. you have the guest suite with its own entrance, gated home, stunning views ocean, islands and stars, music system, wifi, smaller guest suite kitchen in the garage. lots of eating nooks outside and table in garage. birds, doves, owls, red tailed hawks, Spanish tile fountain sounds, quiet cul de sac, will need a car.

It is one of the best places on earth. Great hiking, great beaches, great food and community. Walking and hiking right out our door. Incredible organic food at the open air market, film festivals, be a hermit or enjoy spotting the local celebrities. We are right near the famous Riviera movie theater too. Our farmers market on Saturdays and Tue evenings is fabulous. Ojai is 45 min away and neat town to explore. Heart of Wine country too - seen the movie Sideways?!? Much to enjoy. Neighbor has a book library on the street too. Great walking from our door.

Nohl and her husband were incredibly considerate, friendly and generous. So as not to get stuck in the storm, they kindly offered to come early. I was welcomed like a friend. 🥰 Those extra days at their side was a real blessing. It gave us time to chat about what there was to do as we got to know each other. The property is absolutely incredible. I've never seen a garden so rich in variety, it's a paradise for the senses, I was discovering something new every day : a plant, a stone, a statuette.... I felt so at home here that I could have stayed for weeks or even months, so serene and harmonious is this place. If you appreciate beautiful things, you're bound to enjoy taking care of them. Among the beautiful things, I'd also like to mention Zora, who is an adorable, very calm little flea; I miss her little coos. She's easy to get to know and care for. A little joy on legs ☺️

I had the most enjoyable stay!! Fabulous communication at all times & felt confident taking care of Zora with her meds and feeding schedule. She was such a happy kitty, loved meeting her at different rendezvous points outside while I watered the gardens & enjoyed the wildlife and captivating views!! Love them, such great hosts, left me with all the comforts you'd need plus a little extra!! Love this family, this home has the best energy & love all around!! Cannot wait to go back!!

We enjoyed house sitting for our hosts! How could you not; the home had beautiful ocean views with a garden more beautiful then some botanical gardens we have seen. Zora was the sweetest female cat we have ever met, including our own. She was very friendly, easy to care for and loved to cuddle! The hosts were kind, very informative, easily reachable and provided us with plenty or room for our things. We appreciate the extra time they took to provide information about the area and events occurring during our stay. This is a Great, Santa Barbara stay!
