Needs and Animals

  • My pets
  • A dog
We have a small Border Collie mix. The dog needs to be taken for a walk both morning and evening and sleeps in her bed. She eats 2 cups of food per day and I try to keep her bowl full of water. Bedrooms doors should be closed when leaving the house, so that Coco does not hop on the beds.

The far-north lakeside neighborhood of Rogers Park is one of the city’s most diverse areas. That goes for the things to do there, too. Today, it's best known for housing Loyola University, which means you can find cheap eats, cool shops and some great ethnic food (including Jamaican cuisine). The wide-open expanse of Loyola Park includes one of Chicago's best beaches, the neighborhood teems with public art and you can learn some LGBT history at a pair of museums.

firm dates

We would like the house-sitters to come at least one day earlier than the day before we leave, so we can give instructions, get to know one another and introduce them to the neighborhood... and enjoy time together!
