General description

  • Main home
High-rise downtown apartment with sweeping views and loving elder cat

Needs and Animals

  • My pets
  • A cat
Looking for a house-sitter to stay in my apartment with my cat and a handful of plants for a month while I travel in Asia. The cat's name is Paolo, he's a lovely elder gentleman with a strong meow. I have a few plants that would need watering - 5 or so.

The apartment is large; 1100 square feet with gorgeous south-facing city views. Two balconies further enhance your ability to view the urban scenery, one south-facing and one west-facing. The sunrises and sunsets are epic. You would have access to building amenities, incuding pool, gym (with Peloton), and sauna.

This apartment is connected to the skyway, which is a network of indoor connected walkways that link the whole of downtown. There are many interesting shops and restaurants contained inside. My home is also blocks from the light rail, which is the train system that connects downtown Minneapolis with downtown St. Paul and the Mall of America.

Further, the location is situated squarely between the Target field, where the twins play, the Target Center, where the Wolves play, and the US Bank Stadium, where the Vikings play.

Comfort and Luxury

  • One floor
  • 4 rooms of which 2 bedrooms
  • Contemporary
  • Terrace / Balcony

  • Air conditioning
  • Swimming pool
  • Sauna / Jacuzzi
  • Sports equipment
Hulu-connected TV.

Tourism and Leisure

  • City
  • Museum
  • Cinema
  • Theater / Opera
Minneapolis has more theater seats per capita than New York! My apartment is near many theaters, including the Guthrie Theater, Pangtages, the State Theater, and more.

Notable museums that are nearby are The Walker (modern) and the Minneapolis Institute of Art (varied but has AMAZING historical collections).

You must see the Mall of America once in your life, even if shopping's not your thing.

For a fun day-trip, travel to St. Paul on the lightrail and check out the Hmong Market.

firm dates

Tickets have been booked - these dates are relatively non-negotiable. However, if the sitter was okay with it, I could have a friend introduce them to the apartment if they wanted to come a day after I depart. The dates listed are preferred to ensure a smooth transition.
