Needs and Animals

  • My pets
  • A cat
Indoor 16-year old tabby male cat needs wet food morning and evening with dry food during the day. Normal watering and litter box care plus brushing. He recently lost his litter mate and gets lonely. He can be left during the day and for one overnight now and then but not 2 nights in a row.

There are a couple of plants to be watered. Mail will be held while we are gone. Enjoy the yard but not need to mow or tend to plants.

There are supermarkets, stores and restaurants nearby but not within walking distance. There is a bus nearby that connects to major transit hubs including light rail. There are many beautiful parks and natural areas in and near Portland and an abundance of hiking trails. We are surrounded by rivers and mountains. To the East of us is: Multnomah Falls; Mt Hood where you can visit amazing Timberline Lodge, built during the depressions by the WPA (Works Projects Administration); the locks at the Bonneville dam; and windsurfing in Hood River. To the West is the Oregon coast (1-1/2 hour) and Wineries,. The Portland area is known for its great food, craft beers, boat rides on the rivers. There are lots of museums close by including the End of the Oregon Trail museum in nearby Oregon City. Here's a link to other ideas:
