Karen & Thierry were excellent hosts. Their home is beautiful, in a nice neighbourhood south east of Paris, well connected by Metro & trains to the city. We enjoyed lovely local walks along the river Marne, and to Creteil high street where there were a good variety of local shops and a great market on Sundays. The house was easy to look after, just follow the house rules, respect that the sit is all about house security, keep the garden well watered as we had to because of mid 30’s heat every day, and the house sit was no trouble at all. Car parking was easy in the street outside or nearby. Karen was always there on WA if needed. We would do this house sit again, and recommend it to any one else that might consider applying.

We had a great time staying in Karen's home. She was very welcoming and had prepared a meal for us on our arrival. She gave us ideas of places to visit and maps of the region. Her home and garden are lovely and offer space to relax and enjoy the summer sun after exploring the local region. We very much enjoyed our 3 weeks in Creteil.

Karen is so welcoming. She greeted me with a delicious dinner (and leftovers!), walked me around her neighborhood, and cleared space in the bathroom, bedroom and fridge for me. She offered suggestions for a current photography exhibit in Paris. She definitely loves to share her exquisite home and Paris with visitors. Her neighborhood is suburban -- quiet, cool, calm. Her garden is a lovely respite after a hectic day of inner-city sightseeing. Thank you, Karen, for a most relaxing week!

Nous avons passé un agréable mois dans la maison de Karen, le temps n'a pas été de la partie mais cela n'est pas bien grave, nous avons découvert la ville et surtout profité de tous ces moyens de transports en commun à proximité.... Cela donne envie de revenir en région parisienne. Nous avons été bien accueilli par Karen et nous avons pu échanger facilement. Tout c'est bien passé, nous garderons un bon souvenir de ce séjour
