Physiotherapist
We are a married couple in our four-tees with 2 boys aged 14 and 11 who are very active which keep us busy too. I work part time as a physiotherapist and a Pilates teacher and my husband full time as a captain. I am a busy bee, direct and open to any ideas. We got a very nice group of friends mainly English speaking, we also speak French and Dutch. I like gardening, playing tennis, rugby and activities with family and friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Nienke's place. Nienke and her family are friendly, helpful and easygoing. Nienke is an excellent communicator and very well organised. All information we needed was provided in advance and compiled for easy access in a folder. The dogs, Tess and Zara were lovely; affectionate and very well behaved. As well as this, Callian and the surrounding region is beautiful, with many historic towns and great hiking opportunities. Thoroughly recommended.
Nienke and Mike were nice homeowner, had prepared a dinner for our arrival, there were a room prepared for us, they left clear instructions, have enough food for the animals and wood for the wood burning stove. We appreciated the possibility to use their car allowing us to explore the region. The description of their house was quite accurate and communication before and during our stay was good and clear. We had a lovely time with their friendly and well behaved dogs.

It has been a real pleasure to pet/house-sit for Nienke and her family. They gave us a warm welcome and treated us like friends. Their house is pleasant, comfortable, clean and tidy. It is surrounded by a nice garden, and set in a quiet and rural location where it is easy to walk the dogs. The dogs and the cat are lovely, well-behaved and extremely easy to handle. The magnificent villages around such as Callian and Fayence, to name only a few, are a must seen destination. Though it feels like countryside, all kind of shops are only a couple of minutes drive away. The access to the motorway runs along the beautiful lake of St Cassien and takes you to Fréjus in 15 mn. We would be glad to pet/house-sit for them anytime.
