Julie B.

I had a great time cat sitting for Julie in Madrid. Her cat, Themis, is an adorable small black cat, quite shy yet when she gets used to you she becomes playful and very communicative with her meows and always very gentle. Julie 's appartement is really nice, very pleasantly decorated with a modern twist, and her neighbourhood is simply fantastic, full of lively colourful little cafes and shops and eateries, extremely well connected with buses, even free small shuttle buses. One of my favorite things to do when living at Julie's was tapas dinner at the wonderful San Miguel Market across Plaza Mayor, the walk back is only 10 minutes. Thanks Julie for this lovely Madrilene experience!

Julie was very friendly and helpful. She answered all the questions I had. The flat is lovely and spacious and very close to the city centre of Madrid on the metro. Nearby, there are a few supermarkets, grocery stores and just about anything you might need during your stay, really. Themis is a very well-behaved and independent cat who was a pleasure to look after. Shy at first, she will make friends with you within a couple of days. All in all, I had a great time and would definitely recommend the housesit.

I really enjoyed my stay at Julie's cozy apartment! It is super well located, not too far from the center. Julie was an amazing host, she made me feel welcome and gave me all the information I needed in our brief encounter. She also always made sure to answer all my queations and gave me tips of what to do in the city. Themis is the cutest and sweetiest cat and I miss her already, her company was one of the best things of my stay in Madrid. Thank you Julie:) My best wishes to you and Themis!
