Mon mari et moi - tous deux 50 ans passés, sans enfants, sans animaux de companie, et non-fumeurs - sommes actuellement au Ghana (notre maison est aux US), après être passés en Mauritanie, Sénégal, La Gambie, Guinée Bissau, Guinée Canokry, Sierra Leone, Liberia, et Côte d'Ivoire avant de faire une pause en Europe cet été. Ensuite nous continuerons à l'automne la descente la côte Africaine pour atteindre Cape Town. Bruno est consultant informatique, et moi marketing dans le tourisme.
Tous les deux, nous avons grandi avec des chiens, et avons plusieurs fois hébergés les chats de nos amis. Nous avons aussi fait du couchsurfing dans des pays asiatiques, où nous avons eu la joie d'être reçu par des gens chaleureux qui nous ouvert les portes de leurs maisons. Nous sommes intéressés par toute habitation, avec animaux de compagnie ou de ferme, où nous pourrions nous poser pendant un temps. Etant propriétaires de notre propre maison, nous sommes conscients de la confiance que d'autres propriétaires mettraient en nous. Le respect des lieux est important pour nous, et nous nous engageons à traiter votre maison comme la notre.
Nous recherchons actuellement pour Août 2025 un séjour en PACA ou dans les Alpes - Suisse, Autriche, ou Italienne.

We are both 50-year-old French-born US-naturalized citizens, non-smokers, with no kids and no pets. Both of us are professional consultants; my husband is a software engineer, and I work in tourism marketing. We own our house in California, which we renovated ourselves, and also have French home insurance (MAIF). We have been traveling the world in the past few years, explored our home country with our 4x4 car, and are now in Ghana, after having visited Mauritania, Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Ivory Coast. We are taking a break this Summer in Europe, before resuming our travels this Fall all the way along the Coast of Africa towards Cape Town.
The two of us grew up with dogs and cats (Bruno with poodles, and I with German Shepherds, each around 50 kgs, and cats, and ponies/horses for several years). In the past, we "cat-sat" friends' cats at our house for one to two weeks. During our past housesitting experiences, we took care of our friends' Coton de Tulear during the day, house-sat two Great Dane dogs (a 6-year-old female of 65 kgs and a 2-year-old male of 75 kgs) and one Maine Coon cat in Brittany, and a 13-old female cat in Toulouse, a 13-year female Beauceron dog and a 13-year cat also near Toulouse, and 4 horses, 2 cats and a 2-year old Lab/Malinois/Border Collie mix.
We are currently looking for a stay in August 2025 in the PACA region or in the Alps - Switzerland, Austria, or Italy.

Patricia and Bruno are simply AMAZING! From the very beginning, they were very communicative and understanding. It was our first time leaving our little dog in the care of sitters, and we couldn’t have chosen better. They kept us very well upadated and sent us photos and videos of Misk’i, which showed how much she was enjoying her time with them. Misk’i was very well taken care of, hugged, and spoiled. They paid attention to every detail regarding her food and daily routines, and they made her feel comfortable and safe from the very first moment. I truly believe Misk’i didn’t miss us at all because she was in such good hands. When we arrived, the house was clean, everything was well organized, and they even welcomed us with a warm meal. I recommend this lovely duo one thousand porcent! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, for taking such great care of our baby and for giving her all the love and attention she deserves.

Patricia et Bruno sont des personnes très fiables, réellement proches des 4 pattes, en plus d'être absolument sympathiques. J'ai pu avoir chaque jour des nouvelles de mon Toutou, qui a été vraiment bichonné tout le long du séjour, et les petites urgences ont été très bien gérées. De plus, j'ai récupéré mon logement dans un état impeccable. Voyageurs recommandés à 100%

Belle rencontre avec Patricia et Bruno, le courant est passé tres rapidement ..... Ils ont été aux petits soins avec mes chats, j'avais des nouvelles chaque jours avec photos... Patricia and Bruno have been wonderful house sitters at my country place in Essaouira, Morocco. They communicated always clearly and frequently, sending pictures of the animals and during the hot summer we had bathed regularly dogs and horses. They really toke good care of the house and of the animals. They were at my place when the terrible earthquake happened and they have been helpful checking the property walls with our land keeper, reassuring people and caring for animals security and tranquility. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and presence, they have been just great.
