Antonella has now stayed with us for the fifth time – and that really says it all 😊 She is a very reliable person who truly and deeply loves animals. She not only took excellent care of our two cats but spoiled them with love and attention. She also tended our large garden (one hectare big) with great dedication as well as of all the many many pot plants. It’s clear she has a real talent for plants – both in the garden and in pots. She treats our home with care and respect, and always leaves it spotless. Truly impressive! Antonella has stayed with us in all seasons – sometimes for three weeks, sometimes for ten days. Communication with her has always been smooth and dependable. We loved receiving daily updates with photos, videos, and little notes. And when we came home, she often welcomed us with a delicious homemade meal. All in all, she has exceeded our expectations. We can wholeheartedly recommend her and are already looking forward to the next sitting she has kindly agreed to do!

A MOTHER TO OUR CATS, DOG, CHICKENS, PIGEONS AND DONKEY! Antonella understands very well that taking care of an animal does not only mean that their food and water bowls are full. She socializes with them, she observes them, she empathises with them. She informes herself regarding their needs (this being the first time she took care of a donkey and of chickens), to the point that we ended up learning from her! Through her suggestions, she helped us make their lives better. KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CAREFUL WITH PLANTS. Our plants thrived under Antonella’s care. VERY ATTENTIVE WITH ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROPERTY. Throughout her stay, Antonella took charge of all matters related to the property (safety, property, maintenance and interaction with technicians for the swimming pool and construction workers). With her at the house, we could sleep peacefully thousands of kilometers away. EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR Never have we had such good communications with a caretaker: we were kept informed and she made us participate (as we like to do) in the day to day lives of our resident animals through photos, videos and thorough written information. To summarize, we never dared to hope that we would come across someone like Antonella, she was far above our expectations and she will always be welcome back: as a caretaker, as a friend, as a family member.

As hosts, we were first-time house sitters and a bit apprehensive about letting a stranger into our home. However, Antonella instantly put us at ease, starting from our very first video call. She has a wealth of experience with cats, and it was clear right away that she genuinely loves them. Every day, she provided us with photos, videos, and detailed updates on the day's events, which gave me such peace of mind. Because of this, I was able to fully relax and enjoy my vacation (which I really needed). In the middle of her stay, there was an unexpected storm, which caused flooding in our garden shed. Antonella managed everything perfectly, handling the situation with great care and finding solutions. We were so grateful to her for that! Our garden is enormous, and I felt guilty about the amount of work I was leaving for Antonella. But she managed everything beautifully! She cared for two greenhouses and a big vegetable garden, harvested vegetables, and kept all of our flowers in perfect condition. There was so much to do, yet she handled it all with such care and dedication. To top it off, our house was even cleaner upon our return than when we left. And she even prepared a delicious dinner to welcome us! I can't say enough about Antonella’s kindness and warmth. She took such wonderful care of our cats, Luna (who is very shy) and Tilda (who is a bit cheeky). I wholeheartedly recommend her as a house sitter, and I truly hope she will come back to sit for us next year!

Antonella was incredibly helpful throughout my housesitting experience. On the day of my departure, while I was busy getting ready to leave, she cooked a meal for me, and upon my return, she welcomed me with another delicious meal. Every evening, I received a detailed report from her along with photos, which was a delightful touch. The house was impeccably clean and tidy – truly impressive! My cat Sauron took a crush on her and spent the next two nights seeking her out, loudly meowing where she had slept and seeming inconsolable when she was gone. I would rate Antonella 10 out of 10 points. She is a quite and fascinating woman, and I sincerely hope she will housesit for me again, than what she did exceeded my expectations.
