I am Alicia, Spaniard living in Luxembourg. I have travelled mainly around Europe but also US, Mx, Maghreb, throughout my life. I am usually hosting cat-sitters to care for my 12yo cat Jerry, and would like to venture to sit myself this year.
As I am a host myself I am very careful and attentive to respect the place as my own and will put pets as first priority, as I also do with my companion Jerry in daily life.
I am receptive towards the requests that you may have regarding the stay and appreciate an honest communication to get the most out of it.
I am used to cats, dogs, chickens and bunnies as I had them growing up and would also love to learn about other animals cares. I am also used to medical care in dogs and cats and I am very attentive to their body language and reactions, changes of mood/appetite, as I had to learn especially with my now elder cat, and am always to the look.
I am very safety conscious for the pets and of a home and would never try anything that could put anybody or anything at risk (i.e. windows open for cats or release the dogs from their leash).
My job allows me to telework so I would like to use this opportunity to travel a bit more around Europe.
I love walks in nature, discover remote places, small villages and community environment.
When I travel I like to have the local feeling which is why I prefer travelling this way, plus it keeps me in contact with a pet, that otherwise I would definitely miss! I like to discover the surroundings and also to have some home quiet time.
I am a vegetarian, and I accept if you would prefer to keep your home vegan :)
I travel mainly by car.

My stay at Alicia's and Jerry's house was absolutely great. Alicia is a very nice gal, very thoughtful and organized, and had everything prepared to make my stay nice and easy, incluiding written detailed indications for everything I might need. Jerry is a lovely cat, very affectionate and easy going, whose presence I will surely miss. Bissen is a cute and quiet town not far from Luxemburg city, which is readily accessible by bus and train, and Luxemburg itself is a very beautiful country to explore.

Three badges are too little to give to Alicia! Her attitude towards her hosts is close to 5 stars hotel service. She is very kind, great communicator, friendly and good hearted person. We are extremely happy to meet her. We will be happy to come again if the time comes. The apartment is spacious, well furnished, everything works great. She is separating the garbage, everything is super clean. The surroundings are very nice and calm. Is is extremely easy to get to Luxemburg city or have a nice walk in the woods around. Jerry is just one funny, talkative, nice cat. We enjoyed taking care of him! We will miss him actually :) Thank you again! Martina, Sofia and Kubo

Pour notre première expérience nous avons eu la chance d’être accueillis par Alicia et Jerry, tous les deux ont été formidables avec nous et nous avons donné en retour en prenant soin de Jerry malgré c’est problème de santé, on espère que tu vas guérir au plus vite Jerry. Alicia nous a mis très à l’aise dès le début nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous merci Alicia, et Jerry à été très gentil et très calme nous l’avons adoré nous espérons pouvoir de nouveau un jour revenir vous voir. Et pour terminer nous avons adoré le Luxembourg un pays avec de très beaux paysage et le calme est au rendez-vous. Voilà ces mots nous viennent tout droit du cœur. Alicia is the perfect host. She is friendly and easy to communicate with and goes out of her way to make her catsitters feel welcome and looked after. She is very informative and organised which makes the assignment really easy. We really enjoyed our stay in Luxembourg, Alicia's apartment is big, modern and bright with a lovely sunny balcony in a very peaceful area. Public transport is free in Lux and there are lots of great places to visit. Jerry is a sweet cat who talks a lot and appreciates company! I would not hesitate to sit for Jerry and Alicia again and would highly recommend them to other petsitters.
