Noreen is very communicative, flexible, went above and beyond to show me around and make me feel comfortable. Hatshe the kitty is a lovely girl. Very gentle, easy to care for, great companion. We had several interesting conversations. Charming town, accessible by bus, amenities outside the door.

I spent about three weeks with Nora's cat Hatshe and loved every minute. Nora and Uwe (and Hatshe) were extremely welcoming--they had a delicious dinner waiting for me when I arrived, invited me to go with them to a talk by a local artist, showed me around the neighborhood, and introduced me to several of the neighbors. Their home is lovely and in a great location for exploring West Cork. There are a number of wonderful walking trails nearby and beautiful country to see. And Hatshe is a dream. If you have the opportunity to sit for Nora, I wholeheartedly recommend accepting. You will have a wonderful time and make a wonderful friend.

Noreen and Uwe are friendly houseowners and the cat is very easygoing. Ballydehob is a lovely and lively village and a nice place for exploring the west cork region. We had a geat time here!
