I am a public speaking coach for French entrepreneurs and artists who wish to communicate or sing in English. I play the piano, sing and surf. I speak French, English, Swedish and German. I live in Saint-Malo, by the sea with my two adorable cats, Jelly and Mikado, who love staying at home or chasing butterflies in the garden, when they’re not running up and down the streets.
I want to make sure my cats are ok and well taken of when I travel for work or when on a vacation. At first I tried to take them with me on my trips but it didn't work out. Although they adjusted very well once they’d arrived to a new place, Jelly hated being trapped in her box in the car and Mikado sometimes had territorial issues. That’s why I decided to leave them behind, in the care of kind strangers. Since then, we met a lot of wonderful people and forever friends.
FRANÇAIS
Je suis formatrice en art oratoire en anglais. Pianiste et chanteuse amateur, je pratique le surf. Je parle l’anglais, l’allemand et le suédois. Je vis à Saint-Malo, au bord de la mer, avec mes deux petits chats, Jelly et Mikado, qui adorent rester au chaud à la maison ou se promener dans le jardin et les rues avoisinantes. Comme je voyage beaucoup, j'ai tout d'abord essayé de les emmener avec moi, mais ça n'a pas été un franc succès. Bien qu'ils s'adaptent immédiatement à tout nouvel environnement, Jelly déteste la voiture et Mikado a besoin de dominer son territoire, ce qui le rend anxieux. J'ai donc décide de les confier aux bons soins d'autres personnes aimant les animaux lors de mes déplacements.

Anne-Julie nous a très bien accueillis dans son logement, et son excellente communication a beaucoup facilité notre séjour. Les deux chats étaient adorables et faciles à gérer. Le logement est aux portes de Rennes, ce qui permet de profiter de la vie urbaine sans en avoir les inconvénients. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Anne-Julie is a spectacular homeowner and a delightful human being. Her home is lovely and comfortable. She left all the supplies we needed to take care of Jelly and Mikado while she was gone. She kept in contact. She made sure we had every bit of information we needed in order to take care of the home, her cats and enjoy our stay. The home is very comfortable, with a space that housesitters can call their own, a fully equipped kitchen, and many creature comforts. It's also well located near shops and restaurants and frequent bus transit, but tucked away enough to be quiet. Jelly and Mikado are wonderful cats and we miss them terribly. We would gladly sit here again!

After a month away it was a treat to return to an immaculately clean and tidy house, with fresh flowers, happy kitties and to be greeted by our friendly house-sitter, Anne-Julie. I can't recommend Anne-Julie highly enough, she is an excellent communicator, a very considerate and conscientious person. She took the time to find out about how the apartment and the cats work, by coming over before we left for our travels. She kept in touch with me regularly while I was in New Zealand, sending photos. It was really reassuring to know Bonnie & Tiger were happy, and to know they were well cared for. I think they miss her!
