This is the reference we got from our first house sitters:
From our first conversation with Herry and Ilona, we had a clear picture of their needs for their home and pets: they were lovely to deal with, and provided us with lots of information about the sit and the area. Unfortunately, the nature of our mutual schedules resulted in us arriving the day after they had already left for their holiday, but they arranged for a friend to pick us up at the airport and help us with our initial arrival to their house. They also left detailed instructions on the care of their pets so that the animals easily adjusted to our presence. The house was comfortable and their location near the beach made it easy to walk the dogs or take a swim. On their trip, they stayed in communication with us if we had any questions, and had their housekeeper and gardener come in regularly to keep everything tidy. Thanks to all their thoughtful preparation, we found the property and pets a pleasure to caretake and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Aruba. We would highly recommend these homeowners and you will fall in love with their many rescued pets.

We had a fantastic time at Herry and Ilona's place in Aruba. They have a wonderful house and Aruba is an amazing place to visit. Looking after the rescue pets was very easy and a delight. The pets were very friendly and provided a lot of entertainment. H&I gave us very detailed instructions and were constantly available for any questions, even when travelling. It was a pleasure to meet them before and after the sit. This housesit could not have gone better.

Ilona & Herry are welcoming, friendly and caring. The instructions for the house and pet care were concise and clear. The pets were very easy to care for and they were friendly, loving and well behaved and we missed them when we left! A gardener attends weekly and a cleaner twice weekly, so that was very helpful. The house is within walking distance of the beach and a supermarket. Aruba is a beautiful island and we really enjoyed our time spent there. We also enjoyed just 'chilling' on the patio at the house, where there's a cooling breeze, the sounds of birds and the company of the pets! This was a beautiful house sit and It was a pleasure to house sit for Ilona and Herry. We highly recommend it!
