Hi, I'm Teresa, a literary translator from Germany, dividing my time between the south of Chile, where my partner is from, and a small village in the very east of Germany, where my family lives and where I grew up. I love animals and nature, travelling and exploring, hiking and walking, cooking, camping, crafts, reading, dancing, trying new foods, getting to know people and generally immersing myself in different cultures and environments. Visiting family and friends, sharing meals and coffees, just being together and spending time with the ones I love is also very important to me and something I enjoy very much. I'm curious, open-minded, active and an outdoorsy person but also happy to cuddle up on the sofa on a rainy day, preferably with a four-legged friend, a good book and a cup of tea.
I would like to house and pet sit because I know how important it is to have someone you trust look after your furry companion(s) and your home while you're away. I also very much enjoy being with animals and as I can't have a pet myself due to logistical reasons at the moment (I travel a lot between Chile and Germany and think it would be unfair to subject a pet to such a long journey frequently or leave them behind for a longer period of time with a lot of anxiety for the both of us), pet sitting would be a wonderful opportunity to spend time caring for animals while giving you as the pet parent peace of mind that they and your home are in good hands. I’m reliable and responsible, tidy, friendly, easy-going and a cup-half-full kind of person.
