Hello! My name is Eva, I am in my early 40s and work online as an Astrologer and English Teacher. After resigning from an assistant position in finance, most of the last ten years have been something of a semi-retirement for me. After several years abroad I am back in the States, house and petsitting while I decide where to settle down.

I decided to try petsitting after I found I was spending a lot of time with cats, dogs, and one very charming umbrella cockatoo. I discovered that I truly love animals, feel I understand them, and just really appreciate the warmth and magic they radiate.

I am on Trusted House Sitters, Mind My House, and in a few Facebook groups for house/petsitting exchange. I have had a range of experiences and am getting better at choosing. I can say I am looking for homes that are peaceful, (lively is ok but not chaotic), where the hosts are prioritizing joy and making great memories in their homes.

I am open to animal-free housesits, as well as housesits with furry and feathered company. :) I like to say I am delightfully boring. I am quiet, very tidy, and respectful of other people's privacy and space. I understand that I am being entrusted with something precious.
