Mechanical Engineer
My name is Robert, I am 40 years old, I am from Germany and I love
animals! I love dogs, I love cats, I love all our furry little companians
and ofcourse those with feathers or scales or whatever as well :)
I am currently working in the production/assembly of high-precision
optical metrology devices. I am Head of Production and the assigned
engineer for the entire interferometry product group.
I like to read a lot and I like to listen to music. I love to travel and to be in
new places. I like being outside in the nature and explore it's sights while
hiking.
I am a quiet, neat and orderly kind of person. I don't smoke, I don't drink
and I am not much into partying. I like to go swim and sometimes I go
for a run, but to be honest, I am a little lazy when it comes to sports...
So all in all, I am a pretty boring guy :)
- - - WHY I WANT TO HOUSESIT - - -
I always loved to travel and to see new places all around the world, but
this thing called Money unfortunately always restricted me to the usual
work-vacation-cycle. I always regretted this a lot, because I would rather
like to really experience and to really live the places I visit.
I think the best way to do so is by being able to stay there for more than
just a two week vacation and to really integrate there by living in a home
and not just some kind of isolated and expensive tourist resort.
Nomador offers just what I was searching for and it even adds the huge
bonus that I get some furry companions to care for and to keep me
company in return. It is amazing, that on the other end of this mutually
beneficial system there is You, the home and pet owner, who is happy
to have a trustworthy and reliable sitter to take care of their property
and their loved little ones while they are away.
I want to become a more and more serious Housesitter in the near
future, because I want to be able to go full time with this somehow.
I met many people while housesitting, who made some sort of life
style of this. That Idea just amazes me, because it is everything
I was always looking for :)
- - - MY EXPERIENCE - - -
I love animals ! I grew up with cats, there have been three of those
ladies during my childhood and I had a cat myself when I lived in
Hamburg for 15 years (Her name was Suppe and I miss having her
around). I am also very experienced with fish and birds, which we

I love Robert so much because he is the "best animal dad" you can imagine. He loves the company of cats (and bunnies as it seems) and stays with them because he really enjoys it. 3 batches is not enough to rate his "pet care". I would give him 10 :-) He even sees things that i dont see with my pets and i am already super crazy in love with my two little ones and take the best care of them. Robert built little castles for them, he tells me if there might be a security problem on the terrace and finds a solution, he bought even new brushes for their fur. Robert is a calm and sweet person and not complicated at all. Also super tidy and responsable and reliable. I can uber highly recommend him. Thank you, Robert!

Everything was totally great! Robert is a amazing animal-whisperer. It took only a very short time for my furry ones to accept him totally. Me and my daughter havent even left when Robert was already handling our dogs and cat and bunny like they know him for years. They really ignored us after he arrived haha :-) Robert managed everything in our place to out fullest satisfaction! Plants, mail, neighbours... everything was taking care of. Our animals seemed super happy and were mega relaxed when we came back home. A really total success in all parts. Robert kept us updateds every day and informed us about important things going on. Parfait! Great! Awesome. He is super easy and quick to communicate with, very very experienced with all kinds of animals, super duper organized and a really nice and friendly guy allover. We complete recommend him to sit your place and take care of your animals and we will definately invite him again, when we need a caretaker again. Merci Robert annd Merci Nomador :-)

Our cat Millie instantly fell in love with Robert. It was amazing to see how great and understanding he acts with cats. We felt totally secure leaving our little goofball alone with him. Just awesome. Since our turtle is very low maintainance there were no problems as well. We came back home today to absolutely relaxed and well groomed pets. Robert informed us every day about the going ons and the fun he and Millie had together. He updated us about important mail and had an overall perfect eye on everything. He even fixed a very annoying problem we had with out sink!!! Thank You again for that :-) Robert ist fully trustworthy, very professional, superduper clean and we recommend him to take care of Your home and Your pets from Our deepest heart! We will ask him to help out with our cat again. A great Housesitter and Petcarer :-)

Robert was just perfect! He is very good with cats and knows very well how to handle them. I was really impressed and positively surprised to find such a perfect fit on this website here. He kept us well informed about all the going ons and handled our household wunderfully. Actually I think our house was more clean than before we left. Robert did great with our two fosterkittens as well and all our cats warmed up to him almost immediately; just fantastic. I highly recommend him as house-and petsitter, and especially for cats I will definately invite him again and again :) A really great relief and luck to have found such a reliable person to help me out with my fostercare here. I am totally awed and glad!
