I’m Tim, a 48-year-old Englishman living in Spain, fluent in Spanish, and working as an online English teacher. I’m also diving into the exciting worlds of data science and AI, always eager to learn something new.

I’m currently looking for a sit or two to help my travels in summer with my van, as i travel to corsica, sardinia and back top Gijon.

After pet-sitting informally for friends and family on several occasions, I recently began pet-sitting more formally through TrustedHousesitters. My first sits were in Murcia, where I cared for three chihuahuas for a week, taking them out for long evening walks of around two hours. This was followed by a sit in the Alpujarras, Spain, looking after two larger mixed-breed dogs in a rural setting, where I walked them for about an hour in the morning and again in the evening. More recently, in May, I completed a two-week sit in Mojácar, caring for a small mixed-breed dog — a charming cross between a Lhasa Apso and a pug. All three experiences went very well, and I genuinely enjoyed the responsibility of caring for animals in someone else’s home, confirming that pet-sitting is something I’d like to continue as part of my life. All the owners were very happy and the reviews are on the THS sitters website, which im happy to share. Im using both Nomador and THS to find sits, but have only done THS sits so far. Prior to these official sits, I also had informal experience caring for cats, dogs, and even a pig.

Outside of work, I lead an active lifestyle and enjoy swimming, cycling, walking, yoga, and the occasional run. This means I’m very happy keeping dogs well exercised and maintaining a calm, steady routine at home. I’m reliable, responsible, and caring, and I’ll treat your pets like family and your home with the respect it deserves..
