I am a travelling translator who has been working from home for the last 15 yrs and I would like to combine working, writing and maybe teaching languages all over Europe. Besides German I speak English and Italian fluently, and enough French not to dispair.
I am 60 yrs old an my actual home is on Hofgut Bubenrod, in Germany (https://koenigsberg.biebertaler-bilderbogen.de/?p=25), a wonderful place to live for people, horses and other animals, out in the countryside.

After my dog (a Hovawarth-Mix) had died in 2020 I really missed caring for animals and now I am following my desire to travel again, hoping to see new things, be in contact with animals, find friends and live wonderful moments with interesting people and in nice places. Housesitting is a good way to get the feel of a place, inspirations and still do something really helpful.

I like the concept and I really enjoy to be in contact with animals. I get along great with most cats and dogs, and as I did extensive training with my dog, I even learned how to de-escalate difficult situations. I did housesit in the last 13 yrs, looking for cats, dogs and chicken. At home I tended several horses over the years, and I would work them, but not ride them any more.
I can live with a wooden stove, I love to work in the garden and usually find my way around places. I love the smell of the countryside and the sea, I go collect erbs, but I will not go 20 km a day....

I love music, cooking for me and others, philosophy and chess.
