Hi there!
We are a young family of 4, I’m Erin (29), my partner is Rem (30), and we have a 7 year old daughter - Moana, and a 6 month old baby Akira. We recently sold our home on the beautiful Gold Coast in Australia as we got tired of just having to work 24/7 just to pay the bills and be exhausted each week, not having enough family time. Rem has a degree in exercise science, while he is also studying teaching and working as a barista which he thoroughly enjoys, he is very conscious of his health and loves fitness! I am a florist and before having Akira I was working in a flower market as well as a plant nursery, so I loves gardening and anything to do with nature! We try to pass these interests onto our children, spending time together in nature, focusing on healthy eating and habits, and homeschooling Moana with her interests in mind. Moana loves to be creative and wants to be an artist when she grows up!
Rem is Spanish & Japanese, so we are hoping to take Akira to these countries to visit family and also travel around Europe. We decided we wanted to take a risk and spend a year travelling and homeschooling our daughter, after going through covid and being locked down, it really opened our eyes to realising anything could happen and not to take this amazing life for granted! Though travelling can be very expensive, so we’re hoping to help some families out while they help us out also, by offering our services! We have both grown up with many animals. We have two beautiful dogs called Ellsie and Bunjee, a cat named Sammy and a parrot called Baby who will be staying with our parents while we are away. I have grown up with horses also. Moana is very good and calm around animals, but we know having a baby will limit our chances of being chosen for a house sit. We will never let Akira be close to the animals unless highly supervised by myself or Rem, with us always holding him. He spends most of his time in my carrier or in his bouncer, so will be out of reach to the animals. We are truely animal lovers and will treat your babies like our own. We’re happy to take dogs on multiple walks per day as we love getting out to explore the surroundings and will cuddle up to your cats and play with them as much as possible. We have done multiple house & pets sits for families and friends prior to having our beautiful baby boy.
