Hi, I have two lovely cats Kisby and Kezi. They just need feeding twice a day. They have a cat flap so they can come and go as the please but I like to have someone around to feed them and keep an eye on them while I am away. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN TRANSPORT - PLEASE CONFIRM YOU HAVE THIS WHEN YOU APPLY.

I live in an old 3 bedroom farmhouse in a very quiet, rural part of SW France surrounded by nature. It is renovated and so insulated, warm, clean and comfortable..This is a house-sit for someone who likes to be somewhere rural with not much going on but plenty of calm and quiet. YOU WILL NEED A CAR to get here and get to shops. There is central heating but I mainly heat just the rooms I am using with two wood burners so it would be good if you are used to using wood burners. Your bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. It is up some twisting stairs and so not suitable for people with mobility issues.
I love to go off on adventures, travel, meet people, hear their stories and I love that other people can use my home for their own adventures while I am away.

The house is very rural, not even in the village, though there are neighbours directly opposite so not completely isolated. I have a large garden with vegetable plots and own 8 acres of pasture around the house. It is set in rolling countryside with wonderful views of the Pyrenees from the terrace and garden.

The nearest towns with shops are Aurignac and Cazeres: both a 15 minute drive away. Toulouse is 50 minutes away and the Spanish border at the top of the Pyrenees is 1.5 hours. There is mountain walking 60-90 mins away in the Pyrenees and ski resorts are within a 90 min drive (Peyragudes, Super Bagneres Luchon) making it possible to go skiing for the day mid December to March. Cafes and restaurants in the local towns are available but very limited.

There is a terrace and hammocks and a lovely view so it is the perfect place to read, do yoga and just generally chill out.

I was fortunate enough to spend a month with Kisby and Kezi, Vanessa's enigmatic, yet very loveable felines. The beautiful home and garden are wonderfully comfortable, with stunning views of the Pyrenees. I enjoyed many kilometres riding around the area, and a fantastic night at the local pub, operated by a fair dinkum Aussie expat 😉👍 Vanessa was great company in between her travels, and was kind enough to let me stay on until the date of my next destination. I highly recommend this sit for anyone considering a stay in the future, you will not be disappointed! Thanks again Vanessa! Jay 👣🦘

Gardiennage très sympa dans la campagne avec vue magnifique sur les pyrénées. Vanessa est sympathique et m'a bien accueilli. J'ai gardé ces 2 chats qui sont très gentils. La chambre est spacieuse avec SDB privée.
