We have a good-natured harness trained cat, River. He enjoys spending time chasing lizards in the yard on a tether and requires occasional untangling. The rest of the time he’s happy watching the world go by from multiple window perches. We have several irrigated garden beds that are low maintenance. Watering of non-irrigated beds and house plants is required once a week as well as picking berries.

Our home is located 15 minutes from downtown Victoria by car. A bus stop at the end of the driveway is a direct route to downtown. We are also located very close to the Galloping Goose trail which is part of an extensive regional biking system. Our private backyard offers a variety of seating areas to choose from depending on the weather.

What a lovely couple! They were very inviting, kind and River was a joy to look after - he's a very cuddly cat who adores being pet! Their home & property are beautiful and the neighborhood is accessible to so many places - including 15min walk to the grocery store, gym, beaches, lakes & hikes. They were kind enough to let me enjoy some of their delicious and bountiful fruit/veggies. I would highly recommend this stay.
