Marietta

We have 6 mini schnauzers. They are very low maintenance. They need to go out at least 4 times daily. Morning 8am (breakfast and potty), afternoon 2pm (potty), afternoon 4 or 5pm (dinner and potty), before bed (potty). We have one schnauzer that requires special dry food and 1 chewable pill after dinner.
One or two dogs may need to go out during the day if they stand by the back door and you are home. Otherwise, if they are in the laundry room (where they stay while we are at work and overnight), they are fine not to go out until dinnertime.

Our trip is July 11-19, but we would like the sitter to come earlier to get to know the dogs. Sitter can leave 07/19, or stay overnight and leave the morning of 07/20.
We have 6 mini schnauzers (including a puppy). Puppy will be full-grown and full potty trained by the time this visit takes place. They are yappy, but super friendly and love to snuggle and hang out!

Wonderful and beautiful two-story home in a quiet area of Marietta, GA. About 0-40 minutes to downtown Atlanta depending on traffic, but plenty to do in Marietta without going into the city.
The home has plenty of windows on the back side of the house to let in natural light all day long, a private fenced-in garden, with a guest bedroom and private bathroom upstairs (window in the guest room looks out over the garden/backyard). Plenty of space to relax and enjoy, with a well-stocked large kitchen, living room, full dining room, and theater room. There is a 2-car garage (1 spot available for the guest if desired).
We own small miniature schnauzers that are loud and yappy when they meet a new person, but are super friendly and love to sleep on the couches, in the sun spots from the windows, and anywhere they can relax. They will also greet you with barks at the door, and then calm down once they know it's you. They sleep in the laundry room.

We have a huge collection of BlueRay discs the guests can watch during their stay, the kitchen has everything a chef or baker could need. We will allow the guests to use both the washer and dryer, as well as the oven, stove, and dishwasher. The sun room off the back of the house is a wonderful place to sit and spend time if it's too chilly outside or you don't want bugs. Or, you can sit out on the back patio and enjoy the fresh air.
The theater room has true Italian leather reclining seats, but we ask you don't take the blanket off if the dogs are on the couch with you. The theater room has a soundbar for a great experience while watching TV.
We have a room in the middle of the house we are working to convert to a library, but have not finished yet.
We have a robot vacuum we can send through the house as long as the dogs are put away (they like to attack it)- just ask if there is a spot you would like vacuumed.

We live in a wonderful neighborhood that is quiet, but convenient to the main road that takes you to the city, into town, or wherever you want to go. Supermarket/gas station/hardware/veterinarian/restaurants all within a 5 minute car drive from the home.
We love spending time in the kitchen, and upstairs in the theater room. The garden is beautiful in springtime, and if the weather is nice, there is a pool in our neighborhood that is open April-October (and sometimes earlier and later depending on the heat outside).

If you love to try different foods and cuisines, this is the place for you! There are hundreds of different amazing restaurants within a 10-20 minute drive from the house. There are many museums and state parks close by- including those that have history with the American Civil War. There are a half dozen movie theaters within 20 minutes, a live theater in Marietta, and a few live theaters in Atlanta proper. Atlanta also has a large zoo, and a world-renowned aquarium, which are a lot of fun! Close to the home is a large water park (Six Flags White Water) if it is open for the season, or one can visit Six Flags Over Georgia about 35 minutes away in Austell Georgia.
