We are looking for a reliable couple to care for our beloved dog and two outdoor cats from April 15 to July 1, 2026 (dates flexible).

Meet Roma

Roma is our wonderful 5-year-old female Labrador/Golden Retriever mix. She was professionally trained as a guide dog for blind people and is exceptionally well educated, intuitive, calm, and affectionate.

She responds beautifully to gentle and kind communication — we never raise our voices, as it is simply unnecessary with her.

Her daily rhythm is structured and easy:
• Meals at 09:00 and 17:00 (food provided)
• Walks around 08:00, 12:00, 17:00, and 20:00

Roma has a charming way of communicating.
If she would like you to accompany her outside, she gently places her jaw on your knee — a sweet ritual from her guide dog training 😊

At other times, she happily explores the fully fenced property on her own. When she wishes to come back inside, she simply rings the bell.

She can comfortably stay inside the house for up to six hours if you go out. In town, she is calm and effortless to handle.

Our two cats live independently outdoors.

It would also be appreciated if you could check the vegetable garden from time to time.

⚠️ Important: Once dates are confirmed together, we will book non-refundable flights. We therefore require a firm and reliable commitment.

Our dates aren't set in stone yet as we're waiting to book our tickets depending on our house-sitter :) . We can easely move a week forward or backward; We'd like house sitters to arrive at least one day before we leave so we can go through instructions, get to know the pets.
Important: We are only looking for people who are genuinely available and fully committed. Once the dates are confirmed together, we will book non-refundable flight tickets. Therefore, we require a firm and reliable commitment.

Shops and all essential infrastructure are only 15 minutes away by car. The beaches of the Italian Riviera can be reached within 20 minutes, and the French border is nearby, making this an ideal base for exploring both Liguria and the Côte d’Azur.
Life here follows a gentle Mediterranean rhythm — morning light over the olive trees, peaceful afternoons, and golden sunsets.

She combines the intelligence and loyalty of a Labrador with the gentle, friendly nature of a Golden Retriever. Roma is very sensitive and responds beautifully to calm, kind communication. We never raise our voices — it is simply not necessary with her.
Her daily rhythm is structured and easy to follow:
• Meals at 09:00 and 17:00 (food provided)
• Walks at approximately 08:00, 12:00, 17:00, and 20:00
• Walks usually begin together, and she may add a few independent minutes before happily returning home
The property is fully fenced, and she has never attempted to leave. She is perfectly comfortable staying inside the house for up to six hours if you go out. When taken to town or on outings, she is calm and effortless to handle.
She also enjoys playing and occasionally animates our two outdoor cats, who live independently outside the house.
