Barcelona

We have three cats, Gogo, Didi and Loulou. We want someone to feed them, change their litter tray, keep their water fresh and spend a bit of time with them. It's fine to be out during the day or in the evenings, as long as you're home for a few waking hours of the day to play with them. Loulou is only six months old and very inquisitive, so it’s important to make sure she doesnt run out of the front door or jump over a wall from the upstairs terrace. We also have a few outdoor plants and indoor plants which need watered once every 4/5 days.

A terraced house in an urban area, well connected to Barcelona city centre. The neighbourhood, Badalona, is on the coast, and our home is a fifteen minute walk from the beach. There are lots of bars and restaurants locally, as well as a town centre with shops like H&M and Mango and a large supermarket a couple of minutes walk away.

Our house is a terraced house, with neighbours on either side. Downstairs there is a studio for working, a guest bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, a dining kitchen and a patio with some plants.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. There is also a terrace but it's mostly unused as we only moved in nine months ago.

We have three young children, so there are bunkbeds, books and plenty of toys, for any housesitters who have young children and want to spend two weeks near the beach!

We have two cats, Gogo and Didi and a few plants to take care of. The cats are friendly but independent, and happy to be left on their own for the day while you explore the city and the coast!



Our home is on a quiet street in Badalona. It's a charming neighbourhood on the beach, with lots of icecream parlours, bars, restaurants and plazas where you can sit and watch the world go by. Our house is a 15 minute walk from the beach, which has a couple of beach bars, volleyball and some water sports. There is also a nice beachfront promenade with lots of spots to eat, and a high street with shops like H&M and Mango.

It's very well connected, with a train that goes to Plaça Catalunya in 20 minutes, and a metro line which crosses Barcelona and gets you to Sagrada Familia in 20 minutes. However, it's a more relaxed atmosphere than the city centre, with fewer tourists and less traffic.

Our home is a calm place with lots of books, a small patio for relaxing in the evenings, a well equipped kitchen for preparing meals, and very comfortable beds!

Barcelona is one of the top tourist destinations in Europe. There is a wealth of interesting places to visit. If you're interested in culture, there are lots of museums, galleries and monuments to visit. It's also a great foodie destination, with amazing food markets, tapas bars and restaurants. If you like the beach, we're a 15 minute walk from Badalona beach, but there are more secluded beaches easily accessible by train. For lovers of nature, there is one of Europe's biggest city parks, Collserolla, where you can walk in the woods and explore the hills behind Barcelona.
