I'm looking for a responsible, active and caring house sitter who genuinely loves animals and treats my home with respect. I would like someone who respects Nacho’s needs and schedules.
Reliability, good communication, and kindness are essential. Someone who can follow simple routines, keep things tidy, and make sure my dog feels safe and loved while I am away.
About Nacho: Nacho is a sweet and friendly 6-year-old Samoyed. He loves people, enjoys calm company at home, and is always happy be outside sniffing and trying to catch mice. He's well-behaved, affectionate, and thrives with sitters who enjoy regular walks. Furthermore, he adapts easily to new people. Specifics:
- 3 walks a day
- Feed 2xday, one after morning walk, one around 6 pm.
- Keep the water bowl full
- Keep the shared spaces clean, vacuuming once a day
- Keep the plants watered (of staying > a week)

These dates are fixed, as we already have booked our tickets. Besides having an introductory call, and if we agree of your stay, I would like to meet you before hand, so arriving before hand (maybe a day before or some hours before) is something I’d very much appreciate. We live on the 29th evening, meaning we can meet during the day. We arrive on the 8th at 10.30 pm, but you’re expected to leave after the walk at midday, so Nacho is not holding his pee for too long after we arrive.

Our cosy three‑storey house is located on Rue à Degrés, a quiet street right in the historic centre of Mons, within walking distance of shops, cafés and the Grand-Place. The house is small but comfortable, with a bright dining area, a practical kitchen, and one bedroom on the upper floor, making it ideal for a single person or couple who enjoys town life. You will have reliable Wi‑Fi and all the essentials for a relaxed stay, and everything in the house is easy to use and low‑maintenance. It’s a great base to discover Mons on foot and by public transport while looking after our home and pets as if they were your own.

We live around 10 minutes walk to the park where Nacho loves to be walked (across the train station), and around 20 minutes to a longer walk around the Grand Large.

Mons is a lively historic city with plenty to discover on foot. The house is a few minutes from the beautiful Grand-Place, with its cafés, restaurants and the Gothic town hall, as well as the famous little wish‑granting monkey on the facade. Nearby you’ll find the UNESCO‑listed Belfry with panoramic views over the city, the Collégiale Sainte‑Waudru, the Doudou Museum and several art and history museums. In the wider region, guests can enjoy green walks and cycling routes, former mining sites with great viewpoints, and easy day trips by train to Brussels and other Belgian cities.
