Newly built apartment building. Two bedrooms. One bath. Well insulated. Heating/cooing in the floor. No plants (at the time of writing). Quiet area with a tram connection to Germany/downtown Strasbourg as well as a bus to Strasbourg. Large balcony overlooking equestrian training grounds and the largest park in Strasbourg. Ten minute walk to Germany by way of a pedestrian suspension bridge over the Rhine. We are on the outskirts of Strasbourg, nestled between the small city of Kehl in Germany and the Eurometropol of Strasbourg. The largest park in Strasbourg is directly across from the apartment along with equestrian training grounds and a small circus. There is a footpath to Germany where there are loads of restaurants and shopping. There is a twice weekly outdoor market in the town square in Kehl (Tuesday and Friday). In Port du Rhin (our neighborhood) there is a Carrefour grocery store within 7-8 minutes walking. There is a bus that stops directly in front of the apartment building, running electric buses so quieter than diesel buses, that will also take you to downtown Strasbourg/train station on a northerly path. In Port du Rhin (our neighborhood) there is a Carrefour grocery store within 7-8 minutes walking. There is a bus that stops directly in front of the apartment building, running electric buses so quieter than diesel buses, that will also take you to downtown Strasbourg/train station on a northerly path. Moreover, there is a tram station about 8 minutes away walking that will take you on a southernly route to Strasbourg and it also stops downtown. You can take the tram into either Kehl or Strasbourg. The tram and the both both go to Strasbourg Central Train Station. From the train station there are trains directly to Entzheim (Strasbourg) airport.

Tourisme et loisirs

Europa Park (a theme park) is less than an hour away. There are buses from Strasbourg as well as a new SNCF train that goes to Europa Park. There are dozens of castles along the mountain ranges. Plenty of Grand Routes (GR) for hiking both north, west and south of here. There is also excellent hiking in Germany. During Autumn there are festivals in many of the small towns celebrating the picking of the grapes in the vineyards.

Nous recommandons vivement Michael et sa petite famille . Nous avons eu chaque jour des photos et des nouvelles des chiennes . Michael nous a également tenu au courant de notre serre, il s'est occupé de l 'arrosage des plants de tomates et des semis . Lorsque nous sommes rentrés , un grand bonheur de retrouver Tosca et Cannel qui n'ont manqué de rien en notre absence . La maison était accueillante, une bouteille de riesling nous attendait avec un petit mot adorable ! Michael nous avait préparé un repas avant son départ . C 'est avec plaisir que nous les accueillerons une nouvelle fois à la maison si l 'occasion se présente ! Christelle et Patrick
