We have two cats, Lilith (black) and Bel (grey tiger). They are friendly indoor cats who prefer to stay in their own home. They are very loving, though Lilith can be shy at first. Lilith requires a pill with her evening meal, but is fine with it.

Our dates are not flexible, but I have added a day each end. Sitters may arrive earlier/ leave later as we have plenty of room. We are happy to show you round our area, which we love. We speak English and French fluently, Italian, and some German.

Logement

Alpine chalet with 3 bedrooms in a small village in the mountains. Quiet and restful; with beautiful surroundings. There are several local ski stations (within 20 mins drive) such as Morzine, Châtel, Les Gets and others. A TV and DVD available, 2 bikes to borrow (male, female), private rear outdoor terrace with seating, BBQ and pizza oven; wrap around balcony. Good internet connection, with guest computer. WiFi is available. The house is in a small friendly village with a local restaurant. There is a large village nearby with another restaurant, post office, etc. The nearest town for the supermarket, pharmacy, doctor, etc is a 12 minute drive. A car is essential (although a loan of ours is possible). Our village is in the mountains with amazing views all round, plenty of walking trails and beautiful scenery. In winter there are ski resorts within easy reach. The house is easy to look after as it has all the modern amenities, a modern kitchen, utility room and wet room. Tourisme et loisirs

The region has mountains (Alps) and the house is 25 minutes drive from Lake Geneva. There are plenty of local walks into the mountains along signed paths, or along the lakeshore. There are 2 lakes nearby (Montriond and Plagnes) that can be walked. The towns of Morzine, Abondance and Châtel are 20 minutes drive, and have plenty of restaurant choices. Geneva is a hour drive and has museums, shopping, theatre, etc. Évian-les-Bains is a 30 minute drive, with lakeside beaches. Other attractions include Botanical Gardens, Chillon castle and Montreux Riviera.

Un chalet de montagne dans une ancienne station de ski à 1200m d'alt. au col du Corbier. Beau panorama, cadre superbe. Lieu tranquille et agréable. Plein sud. Nous avons eu du soleil pendant toute la durée de la mission. Proche vallée de l'Abondance. 20mn de Morzine. Une belle entrée en Haute-Savoie (rando, lacs, haute montagne, gastronomie, identité savoyarde...). Deux chats adorables et faciles à s'occuper. Sarah et Steve sont sympathiques.

Cure de repos de 3 semaines au paradis dans les hautes montagnes. Voilà ce que m'ont offert Sarah et Steeve (ainsi que Lillith et Freya) dans leur magnifique chalet décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Tout y est très bien organisé ainsi que le book avec toutes les consignes. Ils ont été vite réceptifs à mes quelques demandes et ils ont eu, je pense, très confiance en moi car ils se sont rarement manifestés pour me questionner, et je leur ai donné des nouvelles régulièrement. Les 2 chattes très craintives se sont habituées à ma présence tout tranquillement. Merci pour ce beau séjour. Je reviendrai avec plaisir si vous le désirez. Corinne
