Nombreuses plantes | Grand jardin | 1 Chat

We have one gorgeous cat who likes his space but loves cuddles at night. He will need to be fed twice a day and let in out of the house but kept in at night.

We also have some indoor plants and a garden that needs watering.

Our house is 650m above sea level and if it snows in winter, you may need to clear the driveway! :)

Tourisme et loisirs

In winter: Vesancy is at 650m so there is a good chance of snow. The area has plenty of great hill and forest walks. There are also plenty of ski fields as close as 25 minutes to 1.5 hours drive from our house. We have underfloor heating and a great fireplace so the house is very cosy.

In summer: There are lots of places to swim from 5 to 20 mins away. Divonne has a large lake that you can swim in or you can swim in Lac Leman - only 20 mins by car.

We are at the foot of the Jura Mountains and close to Switzerland where you can visit Montreux, Vevey, Gruryere, Villars or stay in France and go to Chamonix and Mont Blanc or Lyon - all these places are only 1.5 hours by car and can be done in a day.

C'est la seconde fois que nous avons le plaisir de rencontrer Mélissa et Max. Un couple vraiment sympa ,accueillant,,tout disposé à rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible. Le chat Shadow est super cool,un bon compagnon de tous les jours. La maison est bien située,spacieuse,au calme,lumineuse. La région riche en découverte,idéal pour profiter de la nature et des grands espaces(Plateaux du haut Jura ,vignobles Suisses,.....)Cerise sur le gâteau,du beau temps tous les jours. Si l'occasion se présente ,nous serons ravis de renouveler cette expérience. Christine Didier

Merci à Melissa,et son beau sourire, à Max super sympa, pour leur accueil convivial et chaleureux,la maison est agréable,lumineuse. La région, super pour des petites ou grande ballades,variés est pleines de surprises. Même si nous sommes proche de la région(ht savoie )le dépaysement était au rendez vous. Nous avons appréciés la douce et sympathique compagnie des 2 chats ,le calme de la campagne,avec météo au beau fixe et pleins d'autres belles choses ..... Pas de problème,si besoin, de renouveler ce gardiennage ,avec plaisir. Nous souhaitons à Mélissa,Max , leurs filles,Serafina et Grace, une heureuse continuation dans leur vie et projets de tous les jours. A peut être une autre fois. Christine Didier

Melissa was a very good host and we were very pleased to look after her home and pets. She and her family were very welcoming and their house is situated in a village nestled at the foot of the Haute chaîne du Jura. There are very nice views from the house and a small chapel (Chapelle Riantmont) at the top of the hill behind it. In winter, there is the added interest of snow and we enjoyed a day of snowshoeing on virgin powder ???? (ski and snowshoe rental is nearby). On the sunny days, a walk beside Lac Leman (Geneva) was also very beautiful. There was a dog and two cats to look after. We enjoyed walking with Coco, the dog, who is very affectionate and well-behaved. We didn't have to leave Vesancy to find plenty of suitable and scenic walks, while the nearby mountain reserve of Jura offers some nice walks with views across to the Swiss Alps, including Mont Blanc. In addition, the Intermarche supermarket in nearby Gex offered a veritable cornucopia of multicultural food products. It was really a pleasure to explore this stunning region and meet Melissa and her family.
