We have rescue animals which we would like looking after,
There is 5 year old Catalan sheepdog called Chica, who is very friendly when she gets to know you, but is shy and anxious to begin with until she feels she can trust you. We have a 2 year old cat called Eliot and 1 year old kitten called Isabella
Chica needs two walks a day, but is content with a short walk in the intense heat of summer
We have plants to water in the house and if the lawn could be mowed that would be great.
We live in the mountains so you will need to be mobile preferably a car to travel to supermarkets etc

Wooden chalet which is our family home. The chalet is at edge of a small hamlet, surrounded by fields, forests, mountains and streams. Ideal for walkers and people who enjoy the mountains, nature and the great outdoors.

The house is on the edge of the village facing south with beautiful views down the valley and the surrounding mountains. The chalet is surrounded by the countryside with amazing walks up into the mountains or gentler walks across the fields.
In the village there is a small hotel with restaurant and bar, approximately a 5 minute walk.
The chalet is situated above the town of Bourg St Maurice which is a 10 minute drive, In Bourg there are two large supermarkets and other shops normally found in small towns, there is a market every Saturday with local produce being sold. Bourg has a hospital as well as Pharmacies and GP's and a vet.

This is the Alps, so it is unspoilt and glorious. Nearby resorts of La Rosiere, Les Arc and Val d'Isere are close by.
The chalet is at a height of 1100metres so if your looking for mountain fresh air and peace, look no further.

Cet été nous avons passé un agréable séjour "au frais", dans ce grand chalet avec un cadre manignifique. Les alentours permettent de se promener avec Chica et Lucky, deux chiennes très attachantes et plutôt obéissantes (même lorsqu'on est moyennement expérimentés avec les chiens). Le chat Eliot vit sa vie, mais n'est pas contre un petit câlin de temps en temps. La communication avec Sigrin et Adam était sympathique et fluide.

Merci Sigrin et Adam pour la confiance pour ce second séjour chez vous pour prendre soin de Lucky et Chica. Le chalet et l'environnement sont très agréables à vivre en été, avec une petite rivière accessible à pied pour aller se rafraichir. En un coup de voiture vous arrivez au départ de sentiers de randonnées absolument magnifiques. Sigrin et Adam sont très chaleureux et réactifs pour échanger par message ou téléphone en cas de besoin. Leur famille, leurs chiennes et leurs voisins sont également très sympathiques ! A une prochaine fois ? :) Bonne suite d'été, Eliabel

Sigrin et toute sa famille nous ont accueilli chaleureusement et nous ont mis tout de suite à l’aise. Chika et Lucky,nous ont adopté très rapidement.Elles sont adorables,très câlines.Il est très facile de s’occuper d’elles,elles obéissent parfaitement,ce qui nous a permis de les promener sans laisse et de partir en randonnée sans aucun problème. Il a été difficile de les quitter…Et elles me manquent déjà. Le chalet est très bien bien situé dans un cadre reposant. Il est très bien décoré et fonctionnel,un vrai havre de paix. Merci encore pour votre confiance et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir m’occuper de Chica et Lucky.
