This is Katya. She is 14 years old. She is shy but loving, enjoying nothing more than being pet and sitting in the sun. She typically requires a 15 minute walk in the morning, a 15 minute walk around 18h, and an evening walk before bed (usually 22h).

As she is a senior dog, she has some health issues. She has arthritis in her front legs, which requires her to take a supplement and means she cannot take walks longer than 30 minutes. She is also blind in one eye so her depth perception is poor, though this only affects her ability to be good a fetch. She also has digestive issues, so no treats other than her food.

This home is a second floor unit. It has 1 full bedroom with a double bed, with 1 small bedroom functioning as an office, plus a living room, bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen has a fridge, oven, and washer and drying machine. We do not have central air, but we do have a powerful and portable window-mount air conditioner.

There is also one small balcony at the front of the house that is sunny, and one medium balcony at the back of the house that is shaded.

Our home is located in NDG, 7 minute walk to Station Vendôme. The neighbourhood is a mix of older couples, young families, and young professionals. The street itself is quiet, with many dogs.
