Nori is a senior cat of unknown age, probably around 14 years old. My housemates and I rescued him in January. We know he spent much of his life living on the street, but we don't know much about his past.
Despite everything, Nori is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate little cat. He's small in size, very quiet, and loves human company. He never seems to get tired of cuddles and will happily snuggle next to you, especially at bedtime. He's very adaptable and tends to adjust to your sleeping schedule.
Nori enjoys being brushed and likes all forms of attention and affection. He looooves fish and is generally an easy-going companion.

Nori is FIV+ and therefore more prone to illness. Not the healthiest boy unfortunately. Considering his age and the difficult life he's had, he's doing okay, but he does require some extra care and monitoring.

Because he is FIV+, he cannot interact with the other cat living in the house. As a result, he stays on the attic floor where my room is located.
At the moment, Nori is taking antibiotics twice a day, which are simply mixed into his wet food. He may also occasionally need additional care, such as: …

Few teeth left, so he is on a wet-food-only diet. He should be fed regularly twice a day (with an additional afternoon snack if someone is around).

I feel most comfortable leaving him with someone who has some experiene, and who is confident handling basic care tasks. I would of course remain available for guidance from a distance, and I also have friends in town who could provide additional support if needed.

Logement

The apartment is spread across three floors and is bright, spacious, and full of character. The living and dining area is large and filled with natural light thanks to beautiful windows overlooking one of the cutest streets in town. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a separate toilet on the living-room floor.
On the first floor, you'll find the bathroom with a bathtub/shower, as well as three bedrooms belonging to my flatmates, who may or may not be around during your stay.
The top floor is the attic level, where my room is located. It's the largest room in the house and where Nori lives. There is also additional storage space outside the room and a small terrace where you can read, sunbathe, exercise, or simply enjoy some fresh air.

Tourisme et loisirs

Eindhoven offers a mix of city life and easy access to nature. The city is surrounded by green areas, heathlands, lakes, and nature reserves that are perfect for long walks, cycling, kayaking, and swimming.

It's also an excellent base for exploring the Netherlands and Flanders. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, and many other cities are easily reached by train, making day trips simple and convenient. Belgium is also nearby, Antwerp for example can be reached with a short and affordable bus ride.

In town, you'll find plenty of cozy cafés, beautiful parks, thrift stores, and a quite lively creative scene with a contemporary art museum, smaller galleries and designers ateliers.

Dalila a été une hôte parfaite. Une de nos minettes est très craintive et elle a tout fait pour la rassurer et être aux petits soins. Nous nous sommes donnés des nouvelles tous les jours. Nous avons également eu beaucoup de plaisir à faire la connaissance de Dalila et à partager un moment avec elle à notre retour. La maison était plus propre qu'à notre départ. En résumé, nous ne pouvons que recommander Dalila et nous la remercions beaucoup.

It was a great pleasure to welcome Dalila in our home for 3 weeks. The second we exchanged online we knew that she would be a great cat sitter! Dalila is very easy to exchange with and communication was very smooth between us. She sent us photos and news of our cats everyday. Ouisty and Simba liked her a lot :) We were also very pleased to find the house nice and clean, our bed ready to sleep in. We totally recommend her and she is welcome back anytime.
