I have two cats: Sissy, who is almost 5 years old, and Misia, who is one year younger.
Sissy is the more anxious one and is very attached to me. Because of that, she may prefer to keep her distance from new people and might avoid contact at first. She loves sleeping in the sun. We joke that she has a little solar panel inside her and needs to recharge.
Misia, on the other hand, is a true “party cat.” She is very playful and needs daily stimulation. She loves chasing toys and playing with a string or cord.
They tolerate each other and sometimes chase each other around, but usually Sissy tries to avoid Misia’s party mode ;)
They are fed wet food twice a day. In between, dry food is available via an automatic feeder.

Sissy had some bad experiences in the past, so please be aware that she may scratch if approached too quickly or if she does not feel comfortable yet. She does enjoy being gently brushed, but only when she chooses to come closer on her own.

Located on the second floor, the staircase is shared with only one neighbor, as there are just two apartments in the building. The area is calm and peaceful.

The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, just 7 minutes from the metro station and 8 minutes from local supermarkets (Albert Heijn and Lidl). A bus stop with a direct connection to Central Station is only 5 minutes away.
A nearby park, also 5 minutes away, offers a great space for relaxation and outdoor activities.

I had a good time in Amsterdam. Of course a lot of things helped, like : the weather, the nice and fully equipped apartment, the parks, the nearness of the centre, the famous King’s Day, museums, the available bike etc. But in the first place the good communication with Aga. She gave me a warm welcome and communication during the stay was very easy going. But …. So far I didn’t mention the cats . In the Nomador app Aga already informed me of the behavior of the cats. And Aga was absolutely right : one has to be patient before gaining the trust of the cat girls. However : I had a good time… and coming back would be nice. But I am not the one to decide. Thanks Aga.
