Clermont-l'Hérault

Brigitte and Daniel are very sweet and welcoming people. We immediately felt at home in their eco friendly house, as it was super clean and wel prepared to receive us. After some brief explanations (the house is easy to manage and the cats have a feeder for most of their food) we drove them to the airport and exchanged our good wishes. We kept them updated about the house life as they did about their adventures in Amsterdam, our home city, where they spent the first days of their traveling. Nice coincidence! But anyhow, they felt like friends from the start. Our time with Filou and Pirate in the house of Brigitte and Daniel was just lovely. The cats are brothers, Filou is the relaxed one, loves cuddles and is very sociable. Has a keen mind and knows exactly when the automatic feeder does its job. He is very communicative and has a great vocabulary :) Pirate is more sensitive and on the go, loves a cuddle once he gets to know you. Being the more emotional, he is easily distracted and his brother usually beats him to the feeder. He is quite talkative as well and lets you know you should control the feeder when he is around, looking at the machine to make his point. We did notice however that there are parts of the day when Filou lets his brother have the food, just opening one eye at the sound of the cat nibbles dropping in the bowl. They're both very sweet beings and we do miss them and the stories they tell. The house is very comfortable, on hot days its easy to keep the temperature agreeable by airing and how the house is oriented. Being a mostly wooden house it is very well isolated. We loved the layout, kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and outside spaces are very well connected, easy to manage and very pleasurable. The garden is a beautiful mix of wild and maintained biodiversity. We enjoyed the beauty in privacy, all spaces are out of neighbors view. We were lucky to be able to use their car on this occasion to enjoy the magnificent countryside where the old village is located. About that, the location is close to a big lake, the seaside and beautiful old villages. So yes, we had a great time and will love to come back. Thank you for everything Brigitte and Daniel.

Ce fut un plaisir renouvelé de retrouver les chats et l'agréable maison pour ce séjour automnal, propice aux balades, sous une météo particulièrement clémente pour la saison. Pirate et Filou savent parfaitement exprimer leurs besoins envers l'humain qu'il s'agisse de l'attention, des câlins, d'ouvrir la chatière le matin... Tout est simple, fluide dans la communication avec Brigitte et Daniel ainsi que dans la gestion du quotidien grâce à des consignes claires, précises, des échanges réactifs si nécessaire. Merci pour votre confiance. Au plaisir de vous retrouver une prochaine fois, les Matous me manquent déjà.

Un vrai plaisir ce séjour en compagnie de Filou et Pirate qui nous ont gentiment accueillis. Votre maison est très agréable et bien située et nous a permis de découvrir une très riche région. Merci pour votre confiance et regret de ne pas vous avoir croisé. Une prochaine fois... Françoise et Claude
