We need to find a kind, mature single person or mature cat loving couple who are relaxed and easy going with maybe some island living experience. I am British my husband is French. It would be helpful if our home sitters had a basic knowledge of English, but it's not a deal breaker!

We have 3 cats. One who is about 15 years old and a mother and daughter who are 10 and 9 years old. The older cat is very anxious & shy but loving once you get her attention. They are all are generally very independent. They love it when someone is home during the day with the doors open so they can come and go freely; to eat when they want and to come inside in the heat of the day to cool off and sleep. Each evening they share some pate together outside before leaving to prowl the garden at sunset. They tolerate each other but they're not best friends at all.
We would need people confident to take care of the pool and watering the garden too. It is important for us to have home sitters that are happy to be resourceful and relaxed in situations …

Our home is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house with a 2 bed, 1 bathroom apartment on the ground floor. You have access to the swimming pool from the kitchen and living room on the terrace .
Access to the property is by a very steep driveway or by walking up a steep staircase. A certain amount of power and agility is needed .
We built the house from scratch and although it's fully functional and comfortable, there is still plenty to do!.
We have an upright piano. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. Ceiling fans throughout.

St Martin is a very small island in the Leeward Islands of the north Eastern Caribbean. It is split 40/60 with French department Autre Mer and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
We have a spectacular west facing view over the bay of Grand Case offering uninterrupted sunsets every evening.. It's a short walk down into the village of Grand Case where you will find many excellent restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques and animation. Also the village beach of course.
We are within walking distance of many restaurants, quite a few beach bars with live music and boutiques. Plenty of water sports, diving , snorkelling an sailing and fishing trips available. We have a large supermarket a 5 minute drive away.

Merci à Dominique et Marc pour ce séjour exceptionnel dans un cadre paradisiaque. Nous avons vraiment apprécié la confiance qu'ils nous ont accordée en nous laissant la maison et les 3 chats au caractère affirmé. On est ravi d'avoir rencontré ce couple très intéressant et d'une grande qualité humaine. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir si l'occasion se présente
