Besoin et animaux

Hello visitor to our home,
We have renovated an old 18th farmhouse in the lovely area of the Aveyron in France and started a business as a bed and breakfast, holiday house business. We always loved traveling ourselves, but at the same time we always adored our animals and wanted to have somebody caring for them in attention. We do have established a beautiful old house full of charm, started a vegetable garden, flower and medicinal herb garden, orchard and have a terrain of 8 ha.
So all this to say there is a variety of stuff todo each day. Taking care of chickens, ducks, cats, and 3 horses, depending on the season, the garden will require maintenance, weeding, harvesting, processing, ...
We do have a dog but will take him along with us.
We love this way of life, never boring, every day is different and nature around us is plenty, woods, little roads, little agriculture.

Logement

We live in a very quiet part of the south of France, department is the Aveyron in a very little tiny village Vabre (60-70 peopleà without any shops . You do need your own transport or you will be a bit lost (first shops around 20 min by car).
We're living on the border of the village with a beautiful view on the valley and the woods. Established a big vegetable, fruit, permaculture garden and meadows for the horses of about 7 ha which you can walk around with a little wood at the bottom of the valley. Quite idyllic.
There is agriculture around, but on a very small scale, mainly meadows for grass for cows.
Our home dates back to the 18th century, big stone walls, heavy stone roof, very traditional, and we renovated part of it in an environmental friendly way.
Part of it, it's a business, b&b with two rooms. The other part has 3 possible rooms, not renovated at all.

Tourisme et loisirs

We live in a remote place of France, not touristic at all, but very authentic French and beautiful all the same
At lot of old little villages, full of beautiful old houses, castles. Aveyron has the most 'plus beaux villages de France' of all departments.
Nature is still very present, woods, valleys, three great rivers nearby to walk, swim.
Great for walking, you don't meet anybody here (no tourists).
With the car in 20 min you have all shops.
