We have three dogs, one is a small size mongrel, he lives inside the house, he enjoys the garden during the day, but at night he sleeps indoor.
The other two dogs are a medium/large size mongrels, they both live outside in the garden and never enter the house, they need to be fed twice a day, check their water and other basic tasks.

We also have four cats, three of them live inside and outside and they just need to be fed twice a day.
One cat only lives inside the house, he is a 13 years old cat and needs medicine once a day.

Plants in the porch/garden need to be watered every two/three days in winter, every day in summer.

We will leave from the 5th of September early in the morning to the 12th of September. We would like a sitter available from the 3rd of September, this in order to have time to explain everything about the house, the pets, the garden and the area. The sitter can leave the 13th of September. We will leave an old car for the sitter to go shopping, to the beach or somewhere nearby.

A country house with large fenced garden, mature trees and sea view. We also have fruit trees, fruit can be enjoyed according to the season's availability. The house is not isolated, the Adriatic Sea is 6 km far, there are also two close towns to go for shopping and restaurants if you wish to, San Salvo and Montenero di Bisaccia. The closest neighbour lives at three minutes walk from the house. The house has a large kitchen and large living room, over 70 sqm of living space, both rooms open to the garden space and to the open veranda. Upstairs there is a private area of the house for guests, this area includes a bedroom, an office space, and a bathroom with shower, this part of the house is used only by guests and therefore reserved for the house sitters. There are two close towns to go for shopping: San Salvo is at 12 minutes drive and it avails of every kind of shops and facilities. Montenero di Bisaccia is 10 minutes drive and it avails of basic shops and facilities. At less than five minutes drive there is a supermarket that could be reached even by bike or walk.

The beach is at 6 km , it is a lovely beach even in winter as the weather here is never too cold.

Tourisme et loisirs

The house is in Molise region but just bordering the Abruzzo region, therefore it is possible to explore two regions while staying at the house.
The town of Termoli, in Molise region, is at less than 30 minutes drive from the house and it can be easily visited in one day, the attraction of Termoli is the beach and the old fishermen quarter with its characteristic houses and little lanes.
Vasto is a beautiful coastal town in Abruzzo region, at less than 30 minutes drive from the house. Vasto is a historic town, dated back to the Roman age.
It offers a lovely castle, a lively historic centre, plenty of shops and a wonderful promenade with sea view.

Both towns can be visited in one day and they both avail of weekly markets to buy local fresh food and other products.

We had a wonderful experience housesitting for Monia and Jose. They were warm, welcoming, and very thoughtful in making our stay comfortable, even providing a car, which made exploring the area and beaches so easy. The house is lovely, in a calm and peaceful location, and the region is full of nice nature and great food. The dogs Max and Neve were pure joy, always happy and affectionate, and Pepito and Mimi were the sweetest snuggle cats. We felt at home from the start and loved every moment of our stay. Highly recommended!

That was my first pet/house sitting and I am very lucky to meet Monia and Jose. At the end I left with feeling that I stayed at my close friends place. They are lovely people who welcomed me warmly and they have very nice pets and beautiful house in Italian countryside. I felt very comfortable there. They leaved detailed instructions regarding the pets, Monia was available online if needed, but without micromanagement and daily checks. They left me even the car to drive around (the house is in remote location and one needs a car there). Thank you Monia and Jose for your trust and I hope we meet again!
