We have a 5 year-old female cat, Cléo. She’s the sweetest cat in the world! Cuddly and kind, she likes to play but she’s never aggressive. She doesn’t like other pets and is afraid of children. She really enjoys the company of people who are gentle and calm. Cléo enjoys time in our garden but she cannot be let out on the street. We are looking for a house-sitter who enjoys a peaceful lifestyle and truly likes cats. Someone clean and tidy, with a kind heart for our Cléo!

Cléo eats organic dry food. We will buy enough for your stay, so you don't have to take care of that. No need to clean her litter. She uses a little corner of the garden and buries everything in the soil.

Précisions sur les dates

We would like to find peoole who could stay over Christmas time if possible. Our dates aren't set in stone yet as we're waiting to book our tickets. We'd like house sitters to arrive at least one day before we leave so we can go through instructions, get to know our cat, explore the neighbourhood... and spend some time together!

Beautiful house from the 19th century located in a charming village next to the river and surrounded with Burgundy vineyards. A small garden with high walls, absolute peace and comfort. We like to decorate our house with antiques and designer pieces.

We can lend bikes (men and women’s), have a lot of art books, guidebooks about the region in English and French, and a film projector to enjoy movie nights.

Our village is quiet but lively, as it is located only 10 minutes away from the city of Auxerre by car. It’s the perfect location for people who enjoy cycling, eating good food, drinking good wine, hiking, and water sports (canoeing, swimming). Our cousins live in the same street as we do and we have friendly neighbors who are always ready to help.
We can lend our bikes and our car to our house-sitter if needed. The village is accessible by train directly from Paris (2-hour train ride).

Located in Northern Burgundy, our house is in the heart of a wonderful wine region. The food, wine and craft beer are exceptional here. It’s also perfect to hike and cycle along rivers, or canoe, kayak and paddle.

What a beautiful house sit for Manon!!! Her cat, Cleo, is one of the sweetest, most lovable cats I have ever met, and her home is gorgeous and comfortable. Manon is so friendly, open and compassionate, and very responsive and attentive to her cat, her home, me, and all the necessary components to make for this superlative cat sit down the road from the beautiful Auxerres- Saint- Gervais!
