Weinheim

My stay at Christiane’s went very well. We first met through Nomador, when she kindly hosted me for an evening, later on, I looked after Polly while she was away. Polly is a cat who needs a gentle touch, she meows quite often, and it’s important to have someone present in the home for talk to her. She even helped me get up in the morning, haha! The rest of the time, she sleeps in her usual spots, and occasionally you can pet her. Weinheim is a charming town, i absolutely fell in love with it ! Christiane’s apartment is a lovely, cozy cocoon where you feel truly at ease, and Christiane herself is a wonderful person, easy to talk to and a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend it ! :)

There are so many wonderful things to say that I almost don't know where to start! Well of course, Polly comes first! Polly really is the sweetest, old cat lady and very easy to care for. She is in great shape for her age, and very communicative. It took Polly a few days to warm up to me, but after that she was both cuddly and social. I miss Polly already, especially our cuddle sessions on the stairs and all her little squeaks and purrs. Christiane is a lovely and welcoming host, and I hope that we will keep in touch. Christiane's instructions were clear and communication was quick and easy. We were a little unlucky in that Christiane became and ill and had to change her plans a bit and come back and stay a few days at the apartment, but it all worked out well in the end. Christiane's place is very nice and cozy with a lot of cool and personal details and a fantastic view. The balcony with morning sun and afternoon shade is absolutely amazing, and the flat's location in Weinheim's picturesque old town couldn't be better. There are lots of wonderful walks in the forest just a few minutes walk away. Weinheim is a pleasant town where you can find everything you need and more. There are many interesting places to visit nearby: Heidelberg, Mannheim, Lorsch, Frankfurt, and more. But also just staying in Weinheim is enjoyable! All in all, if you get a chance to meet Polly and Christiane in Weinheim, take it! Thank you, Christiane!
